Lexa sighed as she looked around. She had finally made it to the city of her dreams, New York City.

Lexa, now 22 years old, started her travel blog, LEXAdventures, at the age of 19 and had since then made quite some money. She wrote articles about her travels and got paid by companies and brands to say something positive about them. Today was the start of Lexa's week in the city if her deams, and Lexa was ready.

After stressing out at the baggage claim and finishing all standard procedures on the airport, Lexa was outside, breathing in the smell of the city. It smelled of gasoline, rain and cigarettes, although that might have had something to do with the faxt that there were multiple cars parked in front of her with engines still running, or the fact that it was raining, or the fact that there was a guy smoking not too far her.

After hailing a cab and telling the cab driver the adress she would be staying at, her aunt's house, she was off, ready for her week in the Big Apple.

Clarke Griffin sighed happily. Today was her baby's first birthday. Her baby being her flower shop, Clarke's Paradise. Her best friends, Octavia and Raven, had helped decorate the shop and now banners and balloons and candles were placed all around the shop.

''Ugh, this looks so sickenly cute, I'm going to puke,'' Octavia spoke, fake gagging right after. Raven laughed loudly, Clarke just rolled her eyes. ''Shut up, Blake. Help me light the last candles.'' ''Sure, mom,'' Octavia mumbled. ''I am so not  the mom!'' Clarke protested, laughing. ''I hate to break it to you, Clarke, but you totally are,'' Raven laughed. ''Am not!'' ''Yes you are. Yesterday I got a papercut and you went crazy! 'Oh, Tavi, let me bandage that for you!' I swear, she went crazy!" Octavia laughed.

Clarke pouted. "I just care about you a lot, 's all," she mumbled. Raven cooed. "CutieClarke!" she said, pinching the blonde's cheeks. "Stop! You know I hate it when you call me that!" she whined.

CutieClarke was a nickname that Octavia had once thought of after seeing Clarke go red in front of her crush, Finn. No one really liked Finn, but Clarke liked him. Liked. Past tense. She was over him now. Same wasn't to say about Finn himself, though. He still loved Clarke.

"What's up with Finn, anyway? He still breathing? Alive and well?" Raven asked. "I don't know, I think so. I don't even care, to be honest," Clarke shrugged, rearranging a couple of flowers.

"Funny, there was a time where all you cared about was-" Octavia's words were interrupted by the sound of a bell ringing, signaling the three girls that someone else had just entered.

The newcomer was girl, and a gorgeous one at that. Her brown hair was up in a bun, some excess strands framing her angelic face. A smile that could solve all the world's problems appeared when the girl looked around.

Rows upon rows of flowers,  flowers hanging in pots from the ceiling, flowers on tiny tables and stools stood around the shop, candles giving a lovely glow to them. The girl was so amazed by them that she didn't realise three girls were looking at her.

She snapped out of it as soon as a beautiful blonde presented herself. "Hi, my name is Clarke. How can I help you?"

"Hi, my name is Lexa. I'm looking for a bouquet, but I'm not quite sure what kind of bouquet," she admitted. Before Clarke could speak up, Raven did. "Hey! You're the girl from LEXAdventures!"

Lexa smiled and nodded. "I am," she said shyly. "Love that blog," Raven said, looking at Octavia and nodding as if to say 'true story'. "Thanks, I didn't think anyone would have recognised me here," Lexa said.

"Are you kidding? You're one of the most popular bloggers of the year!" Raven exclaimed. Octavia nodded in agreement. "You're said to be one of the most promising bloggers of 2016," she added.

Clarke looked between the three girls, thoroughly confused. Octavia, noticing this, laughed. "Of course little miss grass smoothie wouldn't know what we're talking about," she said. Clarke gasped, slightly offended.

"They are not grass smoothies! It's spinach with lots of fruit and it's healthy and delicious!" she defended. Lexa couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm sorry, I'm sure it tastes amazing," she apologised. Raven laughed loudly. "It doesn't, trust me," she said. Clarke rolled her eyes. "Anyway, who is the bouquet for?" she asked Lexa.

"My aunt. I want to thank her for letting me stay with her for a week but I don't really know what she likes. She doesn't really like lots of things," Lexa chuckled. "Do you know her favourite flowers?" Clarke asked. Lexa shook her head. "Eh, favourite color?" Again, Lexa shook her head.

"Least favourite flower?" Clarke asked. "Lettuce." "Is lettuce even a flower?" "I don't know, but according to my aunt,  it's a 'white-greenish wannabe that will never amount to anything'. Although she might have been talking about her ex-husband," Lexa laughed.

Clarke laughed as well, but she didn't know why. She hadn't been listening to a word the other girl said. Who could blame her, when there were those beautiful eyes to look at?
A vibrant green, clouded by emotions, keepers of a thousand memories and tellers of a million stories. She had never seen such beauty before.

"Clarke?" Octavia said between a stiffled laugh. This caused Clarke to snap out of it, noticing a blushing Lexa, a red-from-laughing Raven and a very amused Octavia.

"Right, sorry," she apologized. Lexa smiled reassuringly. "So, no lettuce then?" Lexa laughed and shook her head. "Ehm, do you think she likes roses? Or tulips?" Clarke asked. Lexa shrugged. "I guess, I mean, who doesn't?" "Good point," Clarke nodded, smiling.

After Lexa left, Clarke kept looking at the door, sighing dreamily. "Someone's got a cruuuush," Octavia sang jokingly. "I do not have a crush!" the blonde protested.

Raven laughed. "Then what do you call it?" "A form of admiration because she is very beautiful and lovely to talk to," Clarke said.

"Yeah and that's totally not what a crush is," Octavia said sarcastically.

"How long is she staying here?" Raven asked. Clarke sighed. "One week."

Little did she know that one week could last that long.
