[6] The Recruit's Opinions

"So.. What do you guys think of [Y/N]?" Connie asked, as he rested his head on his hand, grazig his eyes across each of the guys at the breakfast table.

[Y/N] was quick to socialize with each of them; she was very kind and held a great sense of humor. She entranced everyone with not only het cute personality, but also with her physique. All the guys fell head over heels for her, but most of them kept quiet about it: like Reiner and Bert, who just sat silently at the table eating, while the others swooned.

At that moment, as the boys chatted, [Y/N] was occupied in one of the cabins, talking and having a great time with Mikasa and Sasha. It was a great day for her. She had made new friends, something she has wanted for practically her whole life. It was momentous, Probably not for the others, but for her, it was.

Marco, with his mouth full of food giggled. ''She's absolutely beautiful, in my opinion!'' he exclaimed, shoving another spoon full of food in his mouth. Jean glared at him; Marco just muttered a low 'what?'and shrugged his shoulders.

''Yeah, She is cute...funny too...'' Eren said, playing around with his food, tossing it around the plate with his fork. ''...but, i wouldn't do anything irrational. It's a good idea that none of us say anything to her,''

''Jean already ruined it for himself,'' Connie said, releasing a hard chuckle. ''You're s-so pretty!'' He continued with a deeper voice, mimicking Jean. Connie burst into laughter, while others watched as the teased boy, who sat beside, tried to hide his building up anger.

''You never know Connie,'' Marco began saying, ''She was definitly blushing! A-and she called him cute. She might be interested in him?'' Jean looked over at Marco, granting him a soft look of appreciation. He was glad he had a friend to stick up for him.

''I'm sorry, but i think she's too old for you kids,'' The voice, which hadn't been part of the conversation previously, startled all the males in the room, some dropping their food. They looked over to the doorway to find Levi standing there, arms folded and leaning against the wall.

''Captain Levi?'' jean, Connie, Marco and Eren all said synchronously, their hearts almost jumping out of their chests.

''Were you standing there the whole time?!'' jean asked, almost shouting.

''Yes, Is that a problem?'' Levi calmly replied, casually, picking up the food that had fallen on the floor with a rag and throwing it away.

''Well, yeah. it's embarrasing...'' Jean said, now with a more hushed tone. The other boys nodded in agreement. By now, Reiner and Bertolt had already fled from the dinner table and back into their rooms. They didn't want to hear the boys stupidly rant at Levi.

Marco, who was still mentally investigating about Levi's first statement, asked, ''What do you mean she's 'too old' for us? She has such a young spirit, there's no way...''

''She might have a 'young spirit', but that doesn't change the fact she's older than all of you. I'll say that she's...above legal age,'' Levi teased, aware that they wanted a direct answer, but he wasn't going to give it to them. 

''She's older than 18? No way! She looks so young!'' Connie said, almost yelling.

''Tch. You're reacting as if she's an elderly woman. She's simply older than you,'' Levi said, annoyed at the boy's overreaction. 

''Is she older than you? Eren asked, pitching in to the conversation.

''No. im positive that she's not,'' Levi replied, but, at the point, that was all he was willing to say.

''Is she in between the teens to 20's, or the 20's to 30's?'' Marco asked, indulged in knowing [Y/N]'s age.

''If you really want to know, why don't you ask het yourself? She will be staying in your room,'' jean's attention perked up as he heard Levi's words, acknowledging that shared a room with Marco. he stared at his captain, awaiting for any further explanation. ''Ash het when she arrives,'' Levi said, eyeballing all of them as he walked out the room.
