"Hey! [Y/N] Psst!" The sleeping girl heard a voice calling out to her; she squinted as her eyes began to open. "Wake up! Corporal Levi is going to kill us if we get to the training area this late," She recognized the voice to be Jean's and, afterwards, she loudly groaned, closing her eyes again.

"Come on! Marco already left, along with everyone else," Jean pleaded, shaking her body in attempt to get her out of her bed. [Y/N] yanked her pillow from behind her head and roughly threw it at him. He chuckled and threw it back, not as hard, but hard enough to get her annoyed.

She sighed and forced herself out of bed; she stood right next to Jean, glaring at him for a couple of seconds. She lifted her hands up and smacked him right across the head, causing him to wince and instinctively back away.

"Hey?! What was that for?" He whined, rubbing the spot where she had hit him.

"Why'd you wake me up? You're the one who has training, not me!" [Y/N] replied, planting another smack on his head.

"Well, i remember Captain Levi saying that you came here to watch us train. I just wanted to make sure you woke up before i left, you know, so i can take you to watch us," Jean shyly said, focusing his vision onto the ground, instead of her.

Aw, that's pretty sweet he remembered. She thought.

But he disturbed my sleep!

[Y/N] crassly sighed, wrapping her arm around Jean's, which caused him to tense up. "Let's go then," She said, leading them out the door. Her hair was visibly messy and wild, but she didn't really care at this point; she was overly eager to watch the recruits train. It had been a dream experience of hers, to know what the trainees had to do before they faced something much more tremendous and horrifying than straining and boring workouts.

12.39 P.M

[Y/N] stood there, mesmerized by the way the recruits swayed freely and rapidly through the air. Everyone had their strenghts and everyone was talented, showing it in their training. They flew around the sky with their 3DMG, using their blades, skillfully, against the fake titans that were randomly placed around the area.

By one large tree, Jean tried to show off his skills to [Y/N]. He swirled through the air, trying to imitate Levi's fighting style. He embarrassingly failed, crashing into a tree and almost piercing himself with one of his blades. He junt hung there, his confidence now at an all time low. [Y/N] couldn't help but laugh. She covered her face, trying not to seem too obvious about her cracking up at Jean's failure at being smooth, but she couldn't hold it in.

Everyone noticed and, so, they were all holding back their laughter, trying to focus on their training, but there's no way you could pay attention after something as stupid as that just happened right before their eyes.

[Y/N] swifly, along with everyone else, quit laughing though, once they heard Levi's yells, "Kirschtein! What the fuck are you doing trying something like that? Get down from there this instant!"

Levi, with his arms crossed, awaited until Jean landed on the ground. Jean walked over at him in shame, looking down at his feet as he approached the Corporal.

"Can you please stick to your routine? You almost killed yourself trying that move. Don't strain yourself, okay? We don't need anymore deaths." Levi sternly said.

"Yes, Captain." Jean replied in a low tone, walking away after Levi motioned for him to leave.

Levi turned around and caught a glimpse of [Y/N], whose sense of tranquility gradually left once she caught vision of his staring. She stood there, wide eyed, as Levi began walking towards her. She looked around, but her ears were perked to the sound of his foot steps becoming louder and closer. She wasn't sure how to talk to him anymore, knowing that there was a possibility that she had feeling for him.
