Gabriella's P.O.V
"Stop it! The kids are going to hear you. Just shut up!"I heard my mom yell."Then you don't start it in the first place,"my dad growled. "See Ashley I'm begging you, I'm done fighting with you okay, I have given up on that. "
"What have you given up. I gave up on you long time ago, I'm just staying with for my kids, otherwise it wouldn't have taken me a second to walk out."my mom fired back.
I whimpered as I heard this. For me my family and friends were my world. I would readily take a bullet for them without thinking twice.
This constant fighting of theirs was getting to me. My head was throbbing and I was shivering.
Their fighting and screaming made my nerves rile up so much so that when anyone screamt or spoke a little loudly I would jump out of fright.I really wanted to know the reason for this fighting of theirs.
It wasn't ever like this. Earlier things were amazing. I'm not saying that my parents never fought, fights are normal in any relationship. We fight the most with the people whom we love the most. But those fights were so meaningless and small compared to this. They would patch up also in the blink of an eye.I longed for that peace again. I couldn't stand hearing their fights as I cried myself to sleep anymore. I couldn't face my moms anger being lashed out on me or Kylie the next day. I couldn't keep assuring my sister that this was just a bump on the road and things would be fine soon, cause I was losing hope.
On question my door opened and there stood Kylie, tears brimming her eyes.
Fights and Evans sisters dint go well together.
Instead of getting immune to fighting seeing our parents constant fighting our immunity against them kept decreasing with each fight."Hey come here," I said sitting up beckoning her towards my bed.
She walked in and hugged me tightly,
"Please make them stop Gabby, pleasee I can't hear this anymore. Pleasee," she whimpered sobbing."Shush, everything is going to be fine. I promise you. New town new starts. I'm sure soon things will be fine. Rainbows are only seen after thunders and storms,"
I said as I kissed her forehead and let her sleep on my bed.
"I hope this storm dies down soon," she mumbled drifting into sleep.
I hated seeing her suffer like this. My hope was dying too.
Please God, please make things right. "Please let Miami be the change that makes my parents change back to normal."I mumbled as I clutched onto Kylie's hand and tried sleeping with voice of my parents screams fading in the background.〰〰
I got up early the morning at about 7 a.m to check if anyone needed any help in the house.
I had a lot of work to complete today. My first day of school started tomorrow.
So I had to start off by buying new supplies, I had to finish unpacking and also call Christina.
I also wanted to have a look around town, see the nearest library, park and art and cloth store for my work. I also needed to figure the route to go to- fro to school by the bus. Driving wasn't an option since I dint even own a car. Both the cars were used my parents daily, not that I minded. Driving wasn't really my thing. As I made my way down I was shocked.
I saw my parents sitting at the table sipping coffee and munching on toast."Good morning darling," my dad said as he noticed my standing in the hall.
"Umm good morning guys." I said staring at them as if they had grown two heads or something.
Weren't they like fighting just last night?
Am I dreaming or something.
"Gabby!" My mom said staring at me clapping her hands," where are you lost, I called your name like 5 times in the last minute. Do you want some toast?""Umm ya sure thanks." I said grabbing a plate sitting down next to my dad.
Wow looks like my prayers are finally starting to come true. So far the best morning ever.
〰〰
"Yea and the house is pretty cute. It's does somewhat have a homey feeling to it." I informed Christina whom I was just Skyping with."Girl Miami equals beaches, hot guys , cute bikinis and an amazing tan."she squealed. " I'm so jealous, you better make the most of it. "
"Haha that's so you Chris, I miss you... I swear I don't know what I'll do with you. How will I survive senior year without you by my side."That's true, how was I going to survive without Christina and Shawn.
I was so shy and horrible arm making new friends. Ughh hello loner life.Just then the doorbell rang, and I heard 2 new voices.
"Gabby come down , our new neighbors are here , there's someone you would like to meet," my mom called.
"Coming mom," I called back "Chris I gotta go, I promise I call back soon. I love you , please visit soon.""Love you too babe, I'll try okay! See ya." She said blowing kisses at the camera as I ended the call.
As I made my down I thought Well hello new neighbors, I hope you'll aren't here complaining about the ruckus my parents made last night. Cause trust me, knowing them it's going to be a routine. Better get used to it.
