"I don't know a perfect person. I only know flawed people who are still worth loving"- John Greene
IMPERFECT- something we all feel sometime or the other. Trust me, don't ever think that you aren't good enough. Your imperfections make you beautiful...
"Yes mom?!" I asked coming down the stairs. There I saw a woman and my girl my age. The girl was a spiting image of the older woman who I assumed was her mom. To say that they were gorgeous would be an understatement. Blonde tresses , blueish green eyes with specs of yellow and tall model like physique they were breath takingly beautiful.
"Darling this is Mrs Yolanda Ryder and her daughter Zara. They are our new neighbors. They own the mansion that extends to the beach next to us." My introduced." And this is my older daughter Gabriella."
"Hi" I awkwardly waved, I was shy around new people and very awkward. "Hello sweetie you're so pretty" she exclaimed. I could see Zara rolling her eyes imitating her mom side by side. This caused me to crack a smile. "Young lady stop imitating your mother this instant,"Mrs Ryder said without even looking at her daughter. "What ?! Mom I would dream of doing that," she sarcastically replied.
"Anyways hi I'm Zara and I'm going to be a senior this year." "Oh my god! Gabby is going to be a senior too. Which school are you attending?! You'll can become best friends soon!" My mom squealed"
" Mom!" I exclaimed covering my reddening face with my hands.So typical of my mom trying to force me into making friends and embarrassing me Ughh. "I'm going to attend Miami senior high school." Zara replied laughing "Yup same one,"
"She seems shy,"Mrs Ryder smiles looking at me. "Oh don't worry I know how crack people out of their shells," Zara said as they laughed "So have you bought school supplies, decided tomorrow's outfit, etc ?" "No!?" "Cool we are going shopping, plus there's a back to school party tomorrow you need a new dress for that too."
"That's great,plus she might need new clothes due to the climate change and no uniform rule in your school." "You sure? I mean I can go on my own and party I don't think so," I inquired. "Nonsense, let's go! Plus I wouldn't mind some shopping myself ."
~~~ That's how I found myself shopping with Zara at the mall. Let me tell you this is a fashionista and major shopaholic. Thank god we had finished buying school supplies earlier.
"So tell me about your family and school,"I said plopping on one of the chairs outside the trial room she was currently in. "School is typical. There's social hierarchy, we have the jocks, cheer leaders, nerds, punks and goths, girl next doors, players and losers." She said coming out in a cute green shorts , black tank top and a green neck piece. Boy she did have long tanned never ending legs.
"I'm guessing you are some sort of a cheer leader or queen bee?" "Wow you pick fast, but seriously I'm not as nice as I am right now. And the people in school are definitely not nice. Don't be surprised if you are the center of good or perhaps unwanted attention tomorrow." She replied flipping her hair.
Holy shit. I'm going to be the new girl during senior year crap. What if people pick on me or something? Ugh I'm already so bad around new people plus people will already have their own groups. Crap I guess I'm going to be saying hello to loner life. As I was consumed in my thoughts u heard a "Thud"
