I'm in Love with a Ghost. (A Danny Phantom fan fiction.)

Chapter Nine.

Danny's pov 

"Cat!" I scream while flying over to her. Frost Bite and King Winters were fighting off Ember. I pick her up to see if she was alright. Her tan skin turned pale, her lips were a little blue. Jack flew over to help me with her. "Cat." he sighed. He checked to see if her pulse was still there. "It's barley there." he looked down. "Danny! Get her to the palace."  Frostbite yelled, I picked Cat up. Jack helped me carry her to the palace, we flew as fast as we could. "We need to take her to the nurse." Jack yelled, he took her from my arms, and ran. All I could do is sit back and watch her die. "I'll have to make a potion to keep her alive." the nurses yelled. Jack had tears in his eyes. Why didn't I?  The nurses made the potion and gave it to her. After a while I sat in a chair to her on the left and took her hand and held it, while Jack sat on the right. I felt a squeeze on my hand, it was Cat. She moved around a couple times but never really woke up. King Winters and Frostbite came in. "Ember is gone. But we need to stop her. How is Winterrose?" he asked Jack. Why didn't he ask me? "The nurses gave her the potion but, it's not working as of yet." he looked over at me and smirked a little bit. King Winters sighed and caressed her face and walked out of the door. "Everything is going to be okay." Frostbite smiled and walked away. 

Jack's pov 

I remember her having brown hair, her smiling face when she was younger, she didn't turn into ghost yet, but she was here. I can't believe Ember would do this to her own sister. I look over at Danny and he's staring at the ground. I feel like he hates me. I don't want him to. "Do you hate me." I stutter, he looks up at me and raises an eyebrow. "I mean, it seems that you like her. A lot." he said looking at Cat. "I knew her when she was born, and the last time I saw her when she was ten. King Winters had sent her away to go find her mom, but other people took her and sent her to a foster home. I used to go visit her when winter came and played with her since she never had any friends. I saw her grow up in front of my eyes. Of course I'm going to like her. But Danny. She's yours. You take care of her the way she's supposed to be treated." his jaw just dropped. He turned into human again. "I'm sorry." he said quietly, I just look at him and smile, "It's fine. She really likes you a lot. And I know you care about her too.". A few minutes passed but Cat was still passed out. Her tan color is starting to form back, and her lips are back to normal. Danny never let go of her hand once, he just sat there looking at the floor. "I can watch her and you can go tell your friends what happened. Or I can go tell them?" I ask politely, he look up and sighed, "I'm not missing when she wakes up. So can you tell them?", I nod my head and head out the door. "Tucker." I say flying down, "I take it that your Jack." he rolled his eyes. "I am Jack but, Cat was hurt by Ember and she's in a comma. Danny is in the room." I say quickly.  Sam  bumped into me by accident. "I'm sorry." she said while turning around, she saw me and her face turned red. "It's fine." I chuckle, "I have to go back to the room. It's like right down the hall towards the right." I say running away. I finally get into the room and Danny looked like he didn't move once. 

Cat's pov 

I hear Danny and Jack talking but I can't do anything but lay there. I finally get the strength to open my eyes again. The bright light blinded me and I groaned, "Cat!" I heard Danny yelled, I smile. "I'm so glad your okay." Jack smiled and patted my shoulder. "Danny. Jack." I say turning to them when I speak their name. I feel really weak, I try to sit up but Danny yelled at me, "Don't do that. You need to rest.".  "What happened?" I say trying to run my fingers through my hair but I couldn't. My hair had curled and it's all naughted. "Ember. She tried to kill you." Jack said playing with his staff, "Doesn't surprise me." I scoffed. She knows if I die. I'll stay the same age forever and I don't want to be. I want to grow up with Danny. "Well, I thank you guys for saving me." I smile. Danny was holding my hand and rubbing the back of my hand with his thumb. It was calming. I lean over and kiss him. I felt awkward because Jack was there. He got up and gave me hug, "I'll come check on you later." he left. I turn to Danny and he looks tired. I scoot over with all of the strength I have and patted next to me, "come here." I say quietly. He smirked and came over and layed next to me. I felt his hands made their way to my waist and pulled me closer. We haven't been dating that long, but, I feel safe with him. I try to turn over but I couldn't. "Stop moving." he demanded, I rolled my eyes at him. It was quiet for a while, until I heard snoring. Danny was fast asleep. 

Sorry if this Chapter was really boring, I had mad writers block and didn't know what to write. But you finally got to see Jack's pov!
