Getting seated at the kitchen table, Mettaton turned on the tv and sat next to me, with Napstablook next to him. We sat their, in silence until Mettaton broke it. "(Y/n), Blooky here is my cousin." He smiled at the ghost, and I waved, laughing slightly. Napstablook smiled at me. Toriel texted me, and I cursed under my breath. "I forgot... um Metta, I know I've already asked a lot, but could Frisk come over so I can help them with a project?"

"Of course darling! I would love to help as well, but Blooky and I could always do something else." He responded smiling, and laughing. The doorbell rang.

Author'sPOV:

You walked towards the door, and Mettaton and Napstablook went to search for a game of some sort. Frisk and Toriel stood at the door smiling. "(Y/n)!" Frisk hugged you tightly and Toriel laughed. "We've only known you for about a day and you already feel like family." You helped carry their stuff inside, and sat on the couch, Frisk started to explain the project and got out the supplies.

"There we go!" You admired your makeshift net, and basket. Frisk grabbed an egg from the fridge, and Followed as you walked up the stairs. Carfully setting the egg in the basket, and attatching the parachute, you held it over the edge, and dropped it. It fell to the ground lightly. Toriel picked it up, and you both watched as the egg was taken out of the basket, in prestine condition. "Yes!!!" Frisk yelled, and ran down the stairs, tugging you along. You laughed, and ruffled their hair. "Nice! That three hour trip really paid off."

"Well you did most of it (Y/n). Thanks a bunch!" Frisk hugged your waist, and Toriel laughed, looking at the clock. "I'm sorry to ruin this my child, but we must be going." Toriel took their hand, and thanked you before leaving. You sighed, and lay on the couch. Out of no where music started to play, and singing could be heard. Walking up the stairs, you leaned on the door with the music, and You heard Mettaton Singing VERY loudly.

"THEY NEED A MONSTER, THAT THEY CAN ROOT FOR, AND I WILL GIVE THEM EVERYTHING, CUZ THEY NEED A MONSTER, THAT THEY BELIEVE IN, AND I WILL BE THERE SHINING!~"

"I'm just a robot with legs, And a soul, and a spark, To ignite your heart, Lose control! I've got a...,Mission and purpose, Gotta get to the surface, But they need me down below, To continue the show, I can't afford to be modest. ~ With this attention and fame.~ And if I'm gonna be honest, I am the best in the game, But, I just wanna be bright,I just wanna shine on, For the ones in the dark, And the ones who are gone, If you've ever felt like you were the outcast, Then to you, I dedicate my broadcast!~" Metta took a deep breath quickly and continued, singing very loudly.

"THEY NEED A MONSTER, THAT THEY CAN ROOT FOR, AND I WILL GIVE THEM EVERYTHING, CUZ THEY NEED A MONSTER, THAT THEY BELIEVE IN, AND I WILL BE THERE SHINING, DARLING, I'LL BE THERE, WHEN EVERYONE ELSE HAS GONE, YOU CAN COUNT ON ME, 'CUZ YOU NEED A MONSTER, TO BE YOUR HERO, AND DARLING I SWEAR I'LL NEVER LEAVE!~"

He continued, and Blooky came up next to you, and shrugged, as you started to sway to his voice. "Your happiness and mine, Are entwined, and I live, To be LIVE ......it's in my design!, I was built to be loved, And darling, so were you, We were made for each other, Even if you never knew, So come on, move your body, To the sound of my song, And if you feel so inclined, Why don't you sing along?, Because I do it for you, And I do it for love, We make the underground brighter, Than the world above!~" He took another breath, and you peeked through the door, seeing him dancing.

"IF YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ALONE, JUST GIMME A CALL ON THE PHONE......., THEY NEED A MONSTER, THAT THEY CAN ROOT FOR, AND I WILL GIVE THEM EVERYTHING, CUZ THEY NEED A MONSTER, THAT THEY BELIEVE IN, AND I WILL BE THERE SHINING, DARLING, I'LL BE THERE, WHEN EVERYONE ELSE HAS GONE, YOU CAN COUNT ON ME, 'CUZ YOU NEED A MONSTER, TO BE YOUR HERO, AND DARLING I SWEAR I'LL NEVER LEAVE!~"

He took a final breath, and repeated the last line. . "You need a monster..." He stopped singing, and panted, taking a seat on the bed. You rushed in and clapped, as Napstablook followed your lead. MEttaton was shoked that you had listened, and a light pink tint came to his face, as he looked away. "That was Awesome Mettaton!!!!" You went over to him and sat next to him, with Blooky.

"Thank you Darling.~ I didn't realize i was that loud." He smiled, and looked at the clock, "It's getting late... We should head to bed darling." He looked towards Napstablook, "Blooky, you can take the other spare bedroom if you would like."

"No... that's ok.... I'm gonna head home. You can come visit if you want sometime. But you don't have to... its okay.....Bye." You both waved as he left, and you headed to your own room after telling Mettaton goodnight. 'Man,' You thought, ' He has such an angelic voice...~' And with that, you drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
