The Only Star I Need - Mettaton x Reader

New Family

After chatting with my newfound friends I decided it would be best to head home. "Um.. I should probably go." A series of 'Aww's and alright's ' filled the area, and Frisk ran up to hug me. I bent down and hugged them back. I gave them my number, and left out the door. I walked through the cold night, wishing I had brought a jacket. I saw the house, and entered. The lights were on so that ment my parents were home. As soon as I got into my room my parents came in. I saw them glance at eachother, then my mother spoke. "(Y/n)... your gonna have to move out tomorrow." I was shocked.

"What?! Why?" They sat me on my bed and explained that, 'I am to old to be living here, and it would save them a lot of time, and money, and how I needed to grow up.'  They closed the door, leaving me to sob, on the sheets of my bed. I cried, as I packed my stuff, and put on some music. I received a few text as I was doing so, but I needed to get packing out of the way.

Stuffing the last of my clothes in my last bag, I went over to my bed. I had gotten several texts from two numbers. The two being Toriel, and Mettaton. I read Toriel's first, and replied.

Toriel: Hello Y/n, Frisk has asked to see you again tomorrow for a school project they wnt help with. <3

Me: Hi Tori, I would love to see Frisk. Were should I go, and when?

Toriel: You could stop by the house. Here is the address.......

I placed my phone down, and changed into my pj's before reading Mettaton's Text's.

Metta: Hello Darling.

Me: Hi Mettaton, um... could I ask a quick question?

I took a deap breath, and awaited his response. I soon heard a beep.

Metta: You can ask me anything darling ;)

Me: could I possible stay with you? My parents wont let me stay, and I need a place to stay.

Metta: Of Course!! I will come pick you up tomorrow. Were is your house?

I texted him the address and said goodnight. I Got into my bed, and let sleep consume my body.

"(Y/n)? Wake up!" I opened my eyes to see my mother at the edge of my bed. I got up, and asked her to leave so I could change. I put on a (F/c) hoodie over a (Second F/c) polo, with jeans. I grabbed my bads and texted Mettaton I was ready. I placed my stuff by the door, and soon enough, the door-bell rang. I grabed my stuff and opened the door for him. He stood there smiling, and I looked behind me to see my parents shocked. I left after yelling a goodbye. "So, if you don't mind me asking.... Why wont they let you stay?" He asked as we walked. As I answered he took some of my bags for me. "Well... They said I needed to grow up, and that it would cost them less money.." I looked down, and Mettaton looked upset. "I'm sorry darling." We walked in silence for the rest of the way.

I saw Mettaton's house, and it looked pretty nice. I was painted Pink, and darker grays, on the outside. On the inside it was painted White, and had two floors. It was beautiful... "Whoa." I gasped, observing the home in surprise. 'Well its Mettaton what do you expect?' I thought. He smirked at me, and showed me two my room. He left, giving me privacy, as I set up the room, to feel more homey.

I placed, my pictures, electronincs, and stuff on a dresser in the room, made my bed, set up my clothing in the closet, etc. I walked down the stairs and Saw a ghost faze through the door. My face was confused. "um.. Hi?" He turned around and saw me there. He froze, and blushed slightly. "Umm... Hello...  My name Is Napstablook, sorry..... I should knock first." He fazed back through the door and knocked. Mettaton came over and saw me chuckling. He opened the door and saw Napstablook. "Hello Blooky!" He turned, "This is (Y/n). She will be staying here for a while."

"Oh... Ok." I smiled at his awkwardness, and Mettaton sat us down at the table.

'This should be fun.' I thought smiling.
