I woke up and went straight to the barn to check on the horses. I turned Spirit and Dutch out to pasture. I walked back into the barn to see Georgia.

“Georgia” I said looking into her stall.

She was lying in the corner sleeping. Until I said her name she got up and walked over to me limping a bit.

“Oh baby girl” I said petting her face

I grabbed her halter and brought her out of her stall and I walked her down the aisle to a set crossties. I ran my hand down both of her front legs. They were both full of heat.

“What happened” I said to myself

“How's she doing” Louis asked walking into the barn with Niall

“Not so good” I said

“Want me to call the vet?” Niall asked

I nodded “Number's on the fridge”

He nodded and left the barn.

“What's exactly wrong with her” Louis asked and bent over by me to examine Georgia's leg

“Feel right here” I said pointing to her leg

Louis slowly ran his hand down Georgia's Leg.

“That is warm” Louis said looking at me

I nodded

“The vet is on his way” Niall said walking into the barn

Soon enough the vet pulled into our driveway.

“Hello” The vet said to me.

He was a older guy with gray hair and glasses. He was super tall.

“Hello” I said

“What's the problem?” He asked looking at Georgia

“Well she used to be a eventing horse, I bought her from the sale yesterday and she is lame” I said

“Oh I see” he said examining Georgia’s front legs.

“Can you walk her for me” He asked looking at me

“Sure” I said grabbed her lead and releasing her from the crossties.

I walked Georgia up and down the aisle. She limped the whole way there and back.

He check her legs again.

“I think she will come out of it” He said

He lifted her feet.

“Her shoes are loose” He said wiggly the shoe

I went to go grab a hammer.

The vet slowly took each of her shoes off. He gave her bute so her muscles would relax and he said to give her a few days and she will be good as new.

“Thank you” I called as he walked back to his truck.

I put Georgia back into her stall. I led Honey and Oreo and put them out in one of the smaller paddocks.

“All done” I said to the boys

Louis left and went to go talk to Jacynda about things. I was so tired all I've been doing is running around these last few days.

“Buzz”

“Buzz”

“Hello” I said answering my phone as I walked into the house
