Chapter 27 (The Search)

After Niall said I could start Barrel Racing again I started looking for a horse. I had Spirit but after his colic I'm not sure if I want to push him as hard as I used too.

I woke up early that morning and logged on to my computer. Their were a few Ranches around the area with Barrel horses.

"Babe! Babe" Niall called from upstairs

"What? Hun" I called back

"I found a horse!" He said running down the stairs in the same grey sweat pants he slept in.

"Let me see" I said taking the phone

"It even says 1D" Niall added

"Niall that means he's fast not a fan" I said almost giggling

I read the description.

"9 year old Buckskin Gelding, free runner, has been hauled to many rodeos and jackpots. Loads, stands at the trailer, goes on trail rides."

"Wow Niall I'm hiring you as my

Horse shopper" I laughed

I sent the lady an email. Crossing my fingers for a reply.

"Sierra, can I ride Spirit or should I buy my own horse" Niall asked

"You can ride mine. But if you really want one" I winked

"You could get a Irish Draught!" I added secretly hinting because that was one of my favorite breeds.

"Let's go horse shopping!" Niall said

I laughed and ran upstairs to get the girls ready. I changed them into clean clothes and fed them. Strapped them in they're carriers. I got ready, braiding my hair and throwing some barn jeans on with an old t-shirt and boots. Niall took the girls out to the pick up and I hooked up the trailer.

I checked my email.

"Hello! We will be home today if you want to come look" I read

I replied

"Yes we would love too! We are just hooking up the trailer"

I got into the truck and punched the address into the GPS.

Niall got in the passenger side.

"We are 20 minutes away" I said

And I pulled out of the driveway.

20 minutes later we pulled into the driveway. White fence followed along each side. Leading up to a big blue building. I was guessing it was the barn/indoor arena.

I parked the truck and hopped out. I grabbed Libby and Niall took Reilly.

A shorter brunette lady came walking over to us.

I held out my hand to shake hers.

"Hi! I'm Sally" she said she was around mid 30s. She has beautiful blue eyes.

"Sierra" I said smiling

Niall also shook her hand.

"You guys have your hands full don't you" she said looking at the girls.

I nodded "yes we do"

"We have a few horses for sale so if you see one you would like to try, just holler" she said as we walked to the barn.

As we entered the barn I couldn't stop staring. The indoor arena was huge. Three barrels were set up with a few riders in the arena.

We turned to the left to go to the stalls. We walked down the aisle to a big Buckskin geldings stall.
