Me and my brother Elijah quickly zoomed into the forest as the Ok'hasis guards chased us. " Y-Y/N Run!" He said I quickly changed into my animal formed then we both got separated. I ran as fast as I could until I couldn't take it anymore. One of the guard spotted me then shot me with an arrow suddenly I blacked out.

Laurence's POV
"Good morning my love" I said as I see Aphmau down the street. "Laurance how many times do I have to tell you? Do not call me your love." "One day you will learn to love me. I smirked as I headed out for patrol. How I wished Aphmau was mine I thought looking into the clouds. I knew Aphmau liked Garroth so I knew I was no match for that. I snapped out of my day dreaming and spotted a creature lying in the grass bleeding. My eyes widened as I ran towards it and saw an arrow struck through its leg. I carried it back to Phoenix drop for help.

"L-Laurance where did you find this creature?" Kiki asked me, She is badly injured. "Lucinda can you make some healing potions?"Aphmau asked as she bandage the animals leg. "Yes I can but she will not live long sh-she has kidney failure." For some reason I felt like I needed to help it. As soon as we were done during the injuries everyone turned in for the night.

Your POV
I woke up with a pain in my leg. "Ughh...I groaned. . "Ok Y/N I said to myself.Im going to stand up leave this hideous place and not let my father find me. Ugh those Ok'hasis guards I don't want to ever return to Malain. Not when I'm being force to marry! How dare Lord Garte help my father. I rolled off the bed not letting anyone notice me and tried my best crawling through the door. When I was about to make it unfortunately my long fluffy tail had to break the flower vase when I turned around.
Great just great...the light flicked open and I saw a man with light brown hair and blue eyes.
My tail turned orange. "Hey are you okay little one? He asked. Fear was in my eye I need to think fast....Think think....I decided to act cute and poor.
I started to whimper. "It's alright he said. My name is Laurance don't be afraid I won't hurt you." Laurance brought me into his room and layer me into his bed as he slept on the floor. He was so kind...and handsome....and...NO STOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CANT FALL FOR A GUY LIKE HIM! I closed my eyes and slept as I complained to myself.

Laurence's POV

I heard a vase broke then my eyes flicked open. What was that? I open the lights and saw the bunny white as snow on the ground. Feared showed in her eyes. " Hey you okay little one? I said she starts whimpering. It's alright...My name is Laurance don't be afraid I won't hurt you i said then pick her up and went to my bedroom the lagged the fur ball in my bed and watched it fall asleep.

I told Aphmau and the others what happened last night as I was explaining Kiki interrupted. " Oh look at you you little cutie!" She baby talked it. " I think she should stay with one of us for now and when she's better we could release her. "Oooh! Ooooh! Kiki interrupted again. What should we name her??!! "Hmm...I was thinking maybe Adina? I asked?. " YESS ADINA A BEAUIFUL NAME FOR A CUTIE LIKE YOU!" Kiki exclaimed.
Adina crawled onto my back and hugged me. "Aww I think she wants to be with you for the days" Aphmau said. I smiled I hold her in front of my and put a bell neckless around her neck showing her my trust.

Your POV

I can't believe they actually called me that hideous name! Ugh..oh well I guess I would have to stay in this village until my injuries are healed too. I jumped onto Laurance back trying to give him a hint j wanna stay with him. I don't know why I chose him but...He hold me in front of him and put a bell around me. I felt like he was an old friend. Wait no I can not trust anyone at this point or I will be caught and dented back to Ok'hasis.

The next day Laurance took me to the park taking a break on has guard duties. I started knowing everyone's name but they don't know my true name. He smiled at me and opened the basket he brought with him and fed me a strawberry. Mmmmm....I nibbled on it until I was done. I felt safe with him even though I'm not even in my human form. My tail suddenly turned brown meaning I'm feeling safe. "Adina you may not be a person but I enjoy spending time with you" Laurance said. He started singing a beautiful melody music to me.
