Aaliyah
The dorm was full of boxes.
Qiana and I decided to move out on the same day. The University was mad at the inconvenience, but they'll get over it. Xavier and Kareem are here and have both moved their things to their respective apartments.
I was in my room color coding my clothes to be put in boxes when Kareem barged in."What are you doing?" He groaned. "Let's go."
I ignored him. "Did you put away all the other stuff?"
"Yes I did, but yo ass still in here packing." He walked to the five boxes that surrounded me and peered into each one.
"Are you seriously color coding right now?"
"Yes, now can you leave me alone?"
He looked at me like I was crazy.
"Naw, fuck that shit." He hissed as he looked around the room.
"Language, Kareem."
He found an empty box in the corner of the room. He walked to my closet, snatched all the clothes he could, and started throwing it in the box. I jumped up and ran to him, hitting his shoulder repeatedly.
"What did I tell you about yo heavy ass hands Liyah?" He said pushing me away.
"Don't touch my stuff and I won't touch you." I huffed, crossing my arms.
He ignored me as he put the last shirt in the box. He pushed past me and made his way to my dresser.
"You got somethin' in these drawers?"
He opened empty drawer after empty drawer. His hands went to my underwear drawer, the one in which I wanted to keep its contents especially close to me.
When Kareem opened it and his eyes lit up. He lifted up a black lace thong.
"Daaaaayum Liyah! I did not know you got down like this." He admired as I snatched the fabric from his hands. My face was red from embarrassment.
"Stay out of that drawer, Kareem."
"I like my women in black, shiiiit." He said pulling out another black garment.
I mushed his face.
"Get out of my room." I ordered.
"Liyah, you need to keep yo mutha fuckin' hands off me."
He made his way to the door.
"And hurry up!" He said as he slammed the door.
Kareem
I had way too many boxes in my Escalade.
Aaliyah had enough clothes to fill both of our cars. I looked in my rear view mirror and spotted Aliyah's dented Camery. She was jamming to Kendrick Lamar's Michael Jordan with her windows down. She was such a nuisance.
I pulled into the parking lot of the apartment and smoothly pulled into a parking spot. Aaliyah sped into the spot next to me and turned off her engine. She hopped out and opened the back door on her side, still shaking her hips to music in her head. I watched as she swayed in her shorts and tank top, her hair moving with her. She bended over to pick up a box on the floor of her car.
"Bro look at that!"
"Lil' ma is bad!"
"That ass too fat!" I heard voices exclaim.
I looked over my shoulder to see two dudes, one Black and one Hispanic, making their way to Aaliyah through my trunk window. They both had smirks on their face and were rubbing their hands together sinisterly. I hopped out the car to see them talking to confused Aaliyah.
