Chapter 5(Part 1)

Part 1...The Truth

After about two or three hours of eating and most everyone talking we finally have the unwanted people leave to go begin our mission. Yes I know it sounds kinda bitchy. Just kinda, I'm just kidding it was bitchy but its the truth. They as in: Jules and Karla are unwanted for this mission. "Manda you sure are quite. Why you so quite?" Jase asks. I shrug, I'm clearly avoiding to even talk. Just don't want to talk right this moment I suppose. "MANDA!!! Please, pretty please talk. Do it for me." Jase says in a whiney voice. It makes me smirk while I'm trying to hold a laugh in. "BOOM!! I made her smile. She knows she wants to laugh. Ohhh, ohh, ahh, ahhh. Who loves me? You love me ahhhh!!!" Jase says in a singing voice. I looked at Jase and smiled, I busted out laughing. "Bet you haven't laughed your ass off in a long time." He says. "Well no. I kinda got in a bitch fit with Mr. Pain in the ass over here." I say. "You don't talk to me like that!" He half yells and starting to get mad. "Or what?" I say. "If I could slap you I would." Braxton injects. "Mmm hmm." I hm back. "Jase this is why I didn't want to come with you." Mr. Pain in the ass says. "Well you are the one who cheated. I can't say much." Jase says. "I didn't really cheat. Like I understand that you're mad and stuff. Please stop being such a bitch." Mr. Pain in the ass says. "Jase?" I say in a shakey voice. "Ya?" Jase says turning around in the drivers seat. "Mom and dad lied to me. They kept it from me." I say. "What?" Braxton says looking at me. "I do have a brother. All these years I thought I was the only one, the only oldest. I find out I wasn't it is hard. I don't understand why they lied to me." I say. "Manda...They could have reasons why they did. Did you ask them about it?" Jase asks.
I look at the floor and a tear manages to slip down my cheek. "No I ran away. Thats all I knew and know how to do. Ever since I was little someone told me to run to them when I needed someone to talk too but then something bad happened to that person. I can't remember who though. It felt like someone disappeared from my life. They only one who understood me, the one that held my hand when I badly needed support and help." I say letting every tear that wanted to come out did. "Oh crap. Manda don't cry, I'm here for you. Can you please smile? If you don't I might happen to cry also. So if you would pull up your big girl panties. You never know maybe if you pull 'em up you might get and become stronger. You could even put that amazing smile on your face while your at it." Jase says in a awkward voice. I start to giggle.

Sometimes I wonder why I keep running because on the other side no one is awaiting for me. I just keep hoping they're their. Most of the time I make myself keep believeing it. I wonder what this map leads too. Then again I am so scared to, not because I am weak. Because although, I might seem like it but I am definitely not. Its because I don't want to seek anything new or have my life be changed. It has already changed in ways I can't explain. I remember that someone always helped me with soccer(It isn't dad) its someone thats about a few years older than me. I looked up to that person...I wanted to be just like them. That person taught me new things I already mastered and know. Its skills that my team is now accomplishing at the moment. That person I will dearly miss because I don't remember a thing about them except that and how I don't know 'em.

After that long time of thinking someone pulls me out of thought. "Manda we have to pull over and get some rest. This map is like half way around this country. Not to mention that we live in California. We have to travel to Pennsylvania. Then to New England. After that we have to go to Australia. So we have a long rode trip. Would it be okay if we go to a motel for the night or even a hotel?" Braxton asks. "Ya I'm really tired." I say. "Manda so do you want to share a room with me or Braxton or a room to yourself?" Jase asks. "I don't care. Which ever works, the one you guys choose it'll be good. Jase if you want Jules can come. But NO NO Karla." I say. "Thats okay. Karla has been kinda rude lately. So how about Jules come with us? Maybe some others?" Braxton suggest. "Its up to Manda. After all she is the one who invited us to come. I honestly think she wants us to all to conclude back to what we were." He says. "I don't care as long as no one annoys me. Okay? Can we turn on the radio?" I say. "Yes we can. How about we text: Jules, Jasper, Kyel, Dominic, Kacey, Devin, Conner, Nola, and Tara?" Jase asks. "Which Conner?" I ask. "Conner the body guard in my kingdom. We cool buddies." Jase says. "Ya that'd be great." I say doving off to sleep.
