"No don't please!" I plead. "Momma you shouldn't have done that!" Devyn says chasing me. "No Dev!!" I say almost tripping.
We are at the park. I filled water guns up and water balloons. And that good stuff.
"Come here!" Mason yells to us. "Crap they are after me!!!" I say running in to Kyel's arms. "Mason! I got her!" Kyel shouts to Mason. "Mason please I beg you don't." I beg. Then Mason and Devyn attack me with water. "I am getting attack!" I shout. Jase runs out and sprays Kyel. "I've been shout!" Kyel says falling to the ground. "Ha sucker!" I laugh in his face. "Manda! Behind you!" Jasper yells. I scream. "Ha you should of seen your face!" Julie exclaims. I smile.
"Hey daddy can Devyn and I go play in the water?" Isabella asks. (Isabella is Jase's daughter). "Only if Aunt Anda goes." He says giving me a pointed look. "What are we waiting for?!" I say jogging off to the water. The kids follow me.
I feel like someone is watching me. I look around and see know one watching me. I shrug it off. I jump into the water. I get splashed by Isabella. "Dev she's getting me!" I say hurt. "Not today Izzy!" Devyn says splashing her. "Mandy?" Someone yells. "What?" I yell back to the person. "Come here!" He yells. I pick up the kids and put them down out of the water. Devyn tried to tackle me but I took off. "Not today." I shouted. "Come on not fair." Devyn whines. That's when I felt someone strong tackle me. "Ha momma we got Brax on our side." Devyn says. "What?" I whispered. "Your kinda wet." Braxton whispers for only me to hear. "I would hope so." I whisper. "I can't get you off my mind. Why?" He asks. "You fell for my devilish charm what can I say?" I say. "Can you hang out with me today?" Braxton asks. "I don't know if that is a good idea. You wouldn't like me and it's wrong you are married to my cousin." I say to him looking him in the eyes. "Just this one time?" He asks if his life depended on it. "Why not, when?" I ask. "Tonight at my palace." He tells me. "Is that suppose to impress me?" I ask. "No here give me your phone." He says taking my phone from the table. "Don't!" I say. He turns it on and drops it. "Why the hell do you have a picture of my wife and I?" He hisses. I take a breath. "I'll explain later. She put it on my phone I don't know how to change my wallpaper." I tell him. "Oh okay." He says calmly. "Braxton do you know my dad?" He asks. "Um I don't know what's his name?" Braxton asks. "My momma never told me. She just told me stories. Like when he made her a promise that he would marry her because she didn't trust anyone else. Also she said when she meet him that she kept running and he called her Runner." He tells him. Braxton frowned. "Is your mom Maranda?" He asked. "Yep!" He says running off. He looks at me and he shakes his head while walking off.
All I could think is 'he figured it out'.
