Daddy said it was best not to see or talk to my mommy. Then we moved I don't know why but we did. Brett was their to comfort me. I think he was super scared. "Why does it have to be this way?" I ask. "Because, no back talk. Keep packing!" Daddy said. "Just do what he says. Its not like momma won't come and see us. She loves us." Brett says. "Then why does momma and daddy fight all the time he says he loves momma then why we leaving?" I ask. "Sis I am only 16 I have know idea." Brett says. "You promise? Even if your mad at me?" I ask. "I promise even if I'm mad at you. Your my baby sis. I don't leave family behind." He says. "So we also have Kimmy's back?" I ask. "Yes we have her back. No matter how much I hate her boyfriend." He says. "Why do you hate them so bad?" I ask. "I have never liked the Bradford's. Anda they have a son please don't talk to that little boy. Like I said if you talk to hkm youur not loyal you don't have my back." Brett says. "Brett not everyone has bad. I don't like Cameron. I don't know how Kimmy could. I love you but I'm seven I don't even like boys. Only you and daddy." I say. "Okay good." He says. "Brett why does Kimmy like him but Uncle Thomas don't like him?" I ask. "Well Anda we are related to the Kelie's, by blood. The Kelie's don't like the Bradford's because they are a kingdom." Brett says. "Oh that kinda makes sense." I say. "Almost done Anda?" Brett asks. "Bee do you like to speed?" I ask. "Yes Anda. You have to promise not to tell anyone. Its our little secret." He says with a wink. "When I get older we'll be speeders together." I say very happy. We do our hand shake and end with a explosive fist bump. "Partner in crime buddies too." Brett says. "Best friends forever." I say. "Best of all my baby sister. Better then a best friend. You've got my back I've got yours." He says. "Bee best of all we have each other to comfort each other when we hurt." I say.
We hug and put our bags in the car. "Can I go with Bee daddy?" I ask. "Be careful Mand and Reet. I will send you the address to the house." Daddy says. "Okay see you when we get their." I say.
Okay so speed is a code word. It means racing or going fast. More like racing though. Ever since momma and daddy started fighting Bee and I were 'speeders', racers. Anyways our names for racing are King and Princess. We have to have nicknames so no one would find out. "Why does daddy talk to Nammy?" I ask. "Who's that?" Bee asks. "Bee do you remember I had to go sleepover? Ya I had to go to Nammy's. Her daughter tried saying I was her sister. I said no thank you." I say.
We drove to the house. I looked out and screamed. ""Wowa what's wrong?" Bee asks. Slowing the car down. "Anywhere but here!! Bee don't take me here!!! Please Bee take me back to momma." I pleaded. "Anda?" He questioned. "Please!!! Noooo!!!" I was screaming and tears flooded my eyes.
I close my eyes wishing this was a dream. The car pulled over and I kept my head in my hands. Not even trying to move. Someone opened the door. "Sis we aren't at that house. Come here." Bee said. I unbuckled and jumped into his arms. "We are at the park." He whispered into my ear. "Please don't make me stay their." I say I was tearing up again. "Sis what happened i that house?" He asks. "A lot daddy didn't let me call you. I don't like her I don't like that one guy nor daddy. Daddy said I was hearing things. Daddy told me to shut my mouth and go to bed. He also said you were to busy to be with me or to care. He said that you didn't like me anymore." I say holding tighter. "Anda I always want to be around you. I love you. When did all this happen?" Bee asks.
I looked at the ground he was playing with mt hair. "Hey Brett! Oh my gosh when did you get here?!" Kimmy said. "Sleepover." I say a didn't say anything else to reveal my secret that one guy said. He said not to tel Bee that if I did he'd kill my bubba. So I promised I don't to loose my bubba. "What!! Imma kick dad's ass! What were you hearing?" My brother said getting very mad. He even cussed he never cusses unless someone said something mean or horrible to me. That's the only time. "I wanna go swing!" I say switching he conversation. "Not until you tell me." He says. "I can't I said to much already." I say. Looking over to see that Cameron was over their. I screamed again panicing. Kicking screaming tears flooded my eyes. "Manda!!! Its me Jace its okay." Jace says. I look down. "Let go Bee. Please." I ask. "This isn't over." Bee says yelling over his shoulder to me. "Jace I missed you so much!" I say and hug him. "I missed you too. Ohmygosh!!!! Stay the night?" He says jumping up and down. "Yessss!" I say hugging him tighter. "Jay, Anda!" Bee yelled. "What?" Jace and I say together at the same time. "Come here." Kimmy yelled. "Okay!" We said.
"What did we do this time?" I asked Jace. "We always get into trouble." Jace says. "I know." I say.
Jace started to run. "No you don't! I'm going to hurt you Jacey! I wanna win!" I yell running after him. I soon caught up to him and tackled him. I was on top of him I grabbed his arms and put them over his chest. "Boom! I win again." I say. At the moment Jace flips me over and does the same to me of what I did to him. "Not cool!" I say. "I win." Jace says. "Come on you two." Cameron says. I grabbed Jacey hand. "We coming!" Jace yelled at him. Jacey doesn't like Cameron. I told Jace everything that happened at that sleepover. Jace is way more protective over me now. I like it way better. We still get into play fights. "Go now! I am not saying it twice." Cameron snarled.
Me nor Jace moved. Cameron walked closer to us. His fist were clenched tight into a fist. "Move now." He said. "Your not my daddy!" I say. He slap me and I started to cry. "Now remember that deal we had? Keep it and tjis too. Say thag you san into something. So we won't cause a big scene. Got it?" He says then walked away without me answering. Jacey wrapped me into a hug. "Shhh its okay." Jacey says. "I didn't tell you the whole story. About the sleepover. Can we go home?To your house?" I ask. "Come on lets go ask Bee." Jace says. We walk to toether but we had no space in between us.
We got over to Bee. "Finally you guys came." Kimmy says putting her hand to her heart. "Okay so this is Braxton. Braxton this is Jace and Manda." Kimmy says. "Hi." We both say. "Can you go play with him?" Cameron asks. Looking at me. "Actually Anda don't feel good she wants to go home. I was kinfa hoping to take her home with me so I can help her." Jace says. "Are you okay?" Bee asks. "Ya Bee. Can you take me over to Aunt Alice's please?" I ask.
We get into the car and stay quite. "Anda you gor a lot of explaining when we get to my home." Jace says. "I know. I'm sorry I didn't tell you all of it. I was scared. I now know it could happen." I say. "We'll talk in the laboratory." Jace says. "Okay." I say frowning. "Why the heck do you have a red mark on your face?" Bee asks. "Brett don't worry about it." I say. "No I am! I'm your brother. What happened to that? We use to tell each other everything. I miss the old Anda." Brett says with a frown. "Something died in me that night." I say. "Get out of the car." Brett said. "Bye." I said. We ran into the castle and wemg straight to the laboratory.
"Spill?" Jace says. "Okay that night Nola seen everything that happen that night. She didn't care. I almost went to the hospital. Anyways, he made a deal and told me I had to do what he said or Brett dies. If I did then Brett lives." I say.
I told him the rest of the story and went to sleep in the laboratory.
