Chapter 3: 2 weeks later

A/N: This is the last chapter that will actually have a Severus Pov. Like I said last chapter it mostly just going to be about the letters for now on. You'll see why soon enough. So on with the Story!!

Severus Pov

Its been been two weeks since the day Griffin sent me his first letter. I have gotten to know more about him. He's so sweet and charming. I bet he's quit handsome as well. But I haven't heard from him in two days which is very odd. He has never missed a day or two before. I think that I'm going to send him a letter and see if he's alright.

Dear Griffin

Its been awhile since your last letter. I've really gotten used to getting a letter from you every morning. I guess that I'm worried that you might of had gotten bored of me. I hope that its not true.

I really hope that you are ok. And that you're not hurt or anything. I'm sure that you heard that James Potter and his friends apologized to me two days ago. And part of me still can't believe it. I also wonder why he apologized at all. He even asked me if we could start over and be friends. But I'm not sure what to say to him. I told him to give me some time to think. Because how can I just forgive the ones that have made the last five years a living hell at Hogwarts. Something in my heart tells me to forgive him. But my head says that I shouldn't. I'm not sure what I should do. Maybe you can give me some advice on what you would do if you were in my position. And Lily I thinks that I should give him a chance.

Other than that. I've been alright. Lily and I have been busy thinking of how to make the cheer up potion last longer. One of her friends used it whenever they can't stay awake. I would like to see if I could make it last at least 5 hours. So far we think that we might be able to start brewing it along with added a few more modifications, if needed.

So I have been busy and a bit tired. Potion brewing does take a lot of time after all. I haven't had much time to myself . Not even to finish reading the Muggle book called Dracula that Lily bought me a few days ago during the last Hogsmeade weekend. It's a book about a very powerful and dark vampire. It's quite interesting.

Griffin, I think I'm starting to like you a little bit more than just friends. After all you are the only person that seems to be able to understand me, besides Lily. And get past my icy demeanor. Most people probably will never be able to try and get through it without hurting me in the end.

You have became a very important to me. Whenever I send a letter to you I feel so much better. To not feel so stressed out . To be able to tell someone everything that I can't tell anyone else even Lily. Thank You, Griffin. For being a great friend to me. And for being here by my side through your letters.

Dear Severus,

I'm sorry that I haven't sent you a letter in about three days. I didn't mean to worry you. I've been quite busy with classes and a family issue. But it seems like it has been resolved. And it's nothing to worry about. And I will never get bored of you. I love you too much to get bored of you Severus . You mean the world to me.

Yes, I have heard rumors about James and his friends come up to you and apologizing. I thought that it was just a rumor. But now I know that it's not that at all. I think that you should give him a chance. Just like you have given me one. He would be a good to have around. After all us Gryffindors are loyal and brave to a fault. So give him a chance and maybe you will see why he had this change of heart.

Other than that it is your choice after all that is just my opinion. I also think that you and Evans will do a wonderful job with modifying the pepper up potion. After all you both are potion geniuses. You both pay attention more in potions class than anybody else. And you often do outsmart Professor Slughorn many times.

The Muggle book does sound interesting. I bet it's about romance and drama. A vampire that falls in love with a mortal. That's what I heard some of the Muggleborn girls say about Muggle versions of vampires.

Severus, I'm so glad that you are starting to fall for me. As I have fallen for you. I am happy that you feel that my presence through my letters are comforting. And your secrets will stay secret for I would never tell.
