((Namie x Izaya request.))
*Izaya's POV*
"Here are those files for you," The slap of files hitting his desk snapped Izaya out of his daydream. He glanced up at Namie, who was seeming a bit more flustered than usual. He frowned just slightly, picking up one of the beige folders. As he opened one, a note fluttered out of it, falling in front of him face down. He reached for it, but Namie snatched it away before he could get it.
"That is not yours, Orihara. You can't read it." He did a fake pout and tilted his head.
"But, Namie-san, if I ask, you have to give it to me. I'm still your boss~." The woman's face reddened slightly and she crossed her arms. The raven held out his hand, smirking a bit.
"Fine, but only listen to the stupid note if you want to. I'll be taking a break." She put the note in Izaya's hand then strode off before he could read it.
She's being awfully different today.. The raven shrugged, setting the note down. He decided to finish working before he got to the note, who knew what it could say?

As the broker glanced at his clock, he jumped, realizing a few hours had already passed. He closed up the files he had out, shut off his computer, and stood. Stretching up, he glanced down at the note Namie had begrudgingly given him. Might as well take a look, ne? He mused, before picking it up and reading it.
"Izaya, I should've given this to you when I first discovered these feelings for you. I love you, but I've been too nervous to tell you. Go ahead and laugh at me, it wouldn't be the first time.
Every night, I'm in the park, so if you want to see me and confront me on this, I'll be there.
-Namie"
It took several minutes for the latter's words to sink in. Izaya set it down after he thought it over for the tenth time. Hurrying to the door, he grabbed his coat off the couch and yanked it on, darting out the door, down the stairs, out of the building, and down the streets of Ikebukuro. Accidentally attracting the attention of a certain angry blonde, Izaya internally groaned, now full-on sprinting down the sidewalk, dodging trash cans and vending machines as he went.
"Hey, flea! Get back here! What's with you today?!" The raven did his best to ignore Shizuo, wishing only to get to the park, hoping Namie was still there waiting. He turned a tight corner, running into an alley for a shortcut. There a tall fence at the end of the alley, nothing Izaya hadn't climbed before. The only problem? Shizuo was still following him.
"I can't play with you today, I'm afraid. I have a very, very important meeting that I'm already late for!" The raven attempted to double his speed, already nearly out of breath. Once he reached the fence, he placed his fingers against the fence, digging his opposite foot into the fence. Almost there, just wait, Namie, just-
"IIIIZAAAYYAAA!" An instant feeling of pain shocked Izaya, causing him to fall back to the ground from the small distance he had climbed. He managed to land on one knee, keeping his balance. The raven hopped up, already looking a little disheveled. His annoyance grew as he watched the blonde approach him, a stop sign in the brute's hands.
"I told you, I can't play today, just leave me alone for today. I hope it's not too difficult for your protozoan brain to comprehend," the broker sickly-sweetly drawled, smirking as he let the blonde swing his sign, leaping onto it and pushing down, leaping off in the next instant, landing on the top of the fence. He waved and bowed, hopping to the other side before Shizuo had the chance to crush him.
Seeing the park in the distance, Izaya sighed in relief and jogged part of the way, walking the rest. He ruffled his raven hair and adjusted his shirt and coat, noticing a few scuff marks and cuts along both articles of clothing, but didn't mind, he could only fix so much of his appearance.

*Namie's POV*
It's been hours, how has he not gotten here already? Namie sat on a bench, looking at the beautiful fountain a few feet from her. "Don't kid yourself, he doesn't like you, and he never will," she muttered to herself, gripping the edges of her skirt, holding back tears she wanted to go away. She closed her eyes, head down, planning to leave the wonderful park in a few minutes if the broker didn't show up.
Just as she was about to get up, she felt hands on her shoulders, and someone lean down behind her. A voice murmured into her ear.
"I'd always be here, Namie-chan."
Namie jumped in surprise, hearing a soft laugh behind her from a familiar voice. She whipped around, seeing her raven haired broker. He was highly messy; scratches on his face and hands, lip bleeding, shirt torn, hair disheveled.
"Izaya! I- Why are you so hurt?!" She would've kept shouting, but the broker covered her mouth with his own.
Once he pulled away, he whispered, "You're attracting a crowd, Namie." He smiled and winked, putting a finger to his lips. Namie blushed, eyes wide.
"Y-you like me..?" The raven nodded. "Why didn't you ever tell me?"
"I didn't think you liked me. You did take every chance to insult me, you know." He smirked, enjoying her flustered expression.
"Next time, tell me."
"Now why would there be a next time, when I already told you I love you?" Namie was stunned, speechless to say the least. For a few moments she stood in silence.
"I love you, too, Izaya."
