"Ow! Ow! Ooww!" I heard Vanessa mutter next to me.
I just chuckled, the scent of fresh, vibrant cucumbers fill the shop around us.
Vanessa... it is a lot easier saying her name since I'd gotten the truth off my chest.
We were at a waxing parlour, at Tyler's local shopping centre (mall).
"How you going there sweetie?" I ask.
"How often did you say you do this?" Vanessa grunted, ignoring my question.
"Ever couple of weeks," I say at ease, I smile just imagining her cute little face all screwed up and horrified.
"Hoowww?" She whined.
A couple of the workers and I laughed.
"After awhile, it doesn't hurt as much." Cara, the young woman whom was assisting Leah, the other girl who was appointed for my spa treatment. Cara was also assisting Libby, whom was appointed to Vanessa.
Between my relaxing, and Vanessa's cries of pain, I'd had some conversations with the staff and gotten to know them pretty well.
Leah, she was a tall girl, gorgeous brown hair and eyes, she was the shy pretty, she doesn't get noticed as much type, and she prefers it that way. She's 20, with a 3 year old son. The father left Leah to raise their son, Adam, alone.
Libby, her dream to be working with the stars. She's good with hair and makeup. This is one of her jobs, she also does hair and makeup for weddings and models in photo shoots. No-one big though. She's just praying to get picked up in the big leagues.
Cara, on the other hand is a scientist. She's been designing more natural body products. This cucumber wax, is one of her very own creations.
I can already feel the skin of my legs softer then usual.
"I love this wax product Cara, you should really consider selling it." I tell her honestly.
"Oh I have Tori, I've thought about it. But at the moment I don't have a lab or the money to hire a professional staff to help me make enough to sell."
"That's unfortunate."
"OW!"
We all cringe at Vanessa's outburst.
"You're done now!" Libby exclaims, clapping her hands. Vanessa climbs of the waxing bed and hobbled towards the change rooms, to get out of her bikini, which I'd advised to bring along.
I met her in the change rooms to dress also. I pulled my tank top over my bikini and chucked on my high waisted shorts. I put on my dock martins and walk with Vanessa out of the shop, after saying a kind thank you and goodbye to my newly found friends.
"What next?" Vanessa asks me.
"Weellll, I want to get my belly pierced, but I'm a little scared, will you hold my hand?" I say, completely serious. Vanessa grins, and pats my shoulder sympathetically, I sighed, she was almost as tall as me. Whhhhhyyyy am I so short?
We walked around a bit before I spotted the store I'd been searching for. 'Hair House Warehouse.'
"Let's check out the shop." I jump up and down in excitement, grasping Vanessa's hand very tight, i noticed her flinch slightly at my embrace, but a huge grin spread across her porcelain face.
"Okay!" She cheered, not quite matching my enthusiasm, but oh well.
We both- Well I mainly, speed walked into the store, pulling Vanessa behind me.
