Jade's POV

It's been almost a month since my twin brother's sudden transformation. He's different now, more angry than he was before, became taller and was now more muscular.

At one point Jacob was my best friend. I didn't really have friends, not that I was anti social. I just don't want to waste time with people who are only nice to my face. The only friends I had I no longer talk to. Embry Call and Quil Atera were my best friends and Jacob had started to drift away because of the recent arrival of Bella Swan. It was also hard for me to be around him because of his constant outbursts of anger. One day we would be laughing and talking together, the next they are saying they didn't want to be friends anymore. Nowadays the only person I talk to outside of my family is Adrian.

First it happened to Sam Uley and then Paul Lahote. I only knew Sam because of Leah Clearwater, he was her boyfriend at the time, but unfortunately that came to an end because of Leah's cousin Emily. Paul I knew from school although I've never talked to him. All I knew about him was he was very famous on the rez because of his...extracurricular activities.

People at school called them Sam's hall monitors on steroids because of how big they had become. What really upset me was when little Seth Clearwater became friends with them. Although, Seth isn't little in size anymore, but he's still only fifteen. La Push High School was very small. It only had 400-500 people, this meaning there was nowhere to hide everyone new everything about you.

The parking lot was where most of the kids hung out before going inside. It was no surprise for me Embry and Quil standing near Jared and Paul at Paul Lahote's truck.
I slowly walked towards the plain red brick building when I heard someone call my name. "Jade!" I continued to walk ignoring him.
I was suddenly stopped by a hand on my shoulder. "Jade, why are you ignoring me?" Jacob asked me with soft eyes.
"You were ignoring me first" I stated lifting his hand off my shoulder. I turned around leaving the 6'7 boy alone in the middle of the parking lot.
As I walked to my locker I noticed a tall boy's frame leaning against my locker. He wasn't as tall as Jake, maybe 6'1. As I got closer I realized who it was, Adrian.
"Hello" I said causing him to turn and look at me.
"Hello" he answered smiling down at me. He turned his body sideways so I could get to my locker.

"So, you ready for that math test?" I turned to him shaking my head. "Nope" I said making a popping sound.
"I forgot about it" I slammed locker shut and turned to him. "It probably won't be that bad"
"Yeah but if I fail my dad's gonna kill me"
He opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted, "Hey sis who's this?"
"Jake this is my friend Adrian." Jacob did not look happy when I said friend. He stared Adrian down making it known that he did not like him. Adrian gave him a smile and then turned to me, "I'll see you when your drill Sergeant decides you can leave. You know where to find me" he says before walking away holding his books with one hand next to his side by his waist.
"Jacob what is your problem? Am I not allowed to have friends" I yelled at him. "You can have friends, you just can't be friends with punks like him!" He growled at me with his finger pointed in Adrian's direction.

"Jacob you can't tell me who I'm allowed to hang out with. You may be my brother, but as of late I only see you as an acquaintance. Now if you could leave me alone that would be great." I walked around me leaving him alone in the hallway and eyes that belonged to my peers followed me.

I walked into my home room, and quickly took everything I need out. My attention is on high alert when I see Embry and Quil enter. "Shit" I muttered they looked towards me as if they heard me. Once they caught my eyes they started smirking. I look to my right to see a empty seat. I'm about to put my legs on the seat but Embry is already sitting there smiling down at me. Then something hit my head. I turned around to see Quil with a innocent smile on his face. Well this is going to be a long day.
