Chapter 12

*Elsas POV*

Once I close the door to my room, it opens right away. "Anna. Don't do that."

"Sorry, I just have so much to tell you." She throws herself onto my bead, I lay down next to her.

"Alright...what is it?" I ask propping my elbow to support my head. "You know about Kristoff right?"

"The guy you haven't shut up about for the past four weeks? Hmm let's see...yeah he may have crossed my mind."

Anna rolls her eyes. "Well anyway, he took me to lunch today and...he kissed me."

"He did what?!" Anna nods her head smiling.

"Yeah."

"Oh I'm so happy for you!" I give her the best hug I can while laying on my side. "He finally made a move on you."

"Yeah well what about Jack? Has he made a move on you yet?" I roll my eyes as I get off the bed.

"No Anna. Why would he anyway? I'm not interesting." I lie. Thankfully I'm turned away from her or else she would see me blushing like crazy.

We've kissed, four times, the last kiss was just before I left. "Liar liar, pants on fire."

"I am not lying." I say turning back around to face her. "If you weren't lying, why did you turn your back on me hmmm?"

"I don't have time for this. Jack is going to be here soon." I leave for the door.

"Jack is going to be here! Oh can I come?"

"No Anna, I made an explanation for why I am here, but. I forgot to make an excuse for you. So please, stay out of sight from him."

"Just, make sure he doesn't see me?"

"At all costs. I've already told him a few lies, I don't want to lie to him more."

"Only because I love you. And because you love Jack." She takes off running in the other direction. Leaving me with my mouth wide open.

She's wrong, I do not love Jack. I only care about him. Right, right, I care about him. There's no way that I could love Jack. He drives me crazy, but every time I see him, all I want to do is run to him.

And just have him hold me in his strong embrace. Like a protective shield, nothing can hurt me as long as I'm with him.

He's sweet, caring, funny, can always make a situation better, sometimes he has a hot head. But I can always calm him down.

He knows when I'm upset just by glancing at me. In the short few weeks, he has been there for me. I rely on him in a lot of ways.

Now, I'm wondering how I'm going to go back to a normal schedule without him around. As I round the next corner, a guard comes up to me.

"You're majesty. There is a man here, his name is Jackson Overland. He says that he's here to see a Elsa Arens, but we don't know of one."

"It's alright, leave him to me alone. I'll take care of it."

"Yes your majesty." He turns back, I follow him to find Jack. The guard takes me to the first floor.

I look inside the window. He's sitting in a chair with his head down messing with his thumbs. I open the door, he looks up at me.

"Thank you everyone. I can take it from here." They all leave, thankfully without bowing or anything like that. I close the door after they all leave.

"Elsa..." Jack gets up and takes me into his arms. "They told me that they didn't know who you were, and that they have no record of you."

"Protection for me. The queen knows about the danger I'm in, so she gave me a fake name to use when I come here."
