*Jack's POV*
I'm sitting in a chair in the directors office. They drove me here not too long after North and Chad took off after Elsa.
I'm holding my head in my hands. There's nothing for me to do. It frustrates me to the extreme. I can't help, I don't know where Elsa is. Or who took her.
She told me to stay safe but she didn't do the same for herself. Not long after she ran, I tried forcing the door open. Slamming my shoulder against it again and again. It wasn't until I took a step back and kicked the door, when I finally got out.
I ran as fast as I could trying to find her. When I did, she was raising her hand to the old man. I didn't know what it was, but I knew that I had to stop her. The old man grabbed her hand the second Elsa turned around.
I wish that I had gotten to her sooner. Please don't let that be the last kiss that we'll share. I run my fingers over my lips with the thought. It's as though I can still feel her there.
The door opens, revealing Chad, North, and director Walt. All of them keep their eyes on me as they sit down. "What happened? Where's Elsa?" I ask.
All of them look at each other. I'm getting inpatient now. "Jack don't freak out-"
"Why? Where is she??" I say again standing up. Walt puts up his hands. "Jackson, calm down."
"Don't call me that." I snap at him sitting back down in my seat. Chad takes a deep breath before speaking again. "We...we lost her. I'm sorry Jack, he got away."
I stand up from my chair and turn my back to them. "We did everything we could-" he stops when I punch the wall. Creating a small hole. It's not enough to get my anger out.
I pick up a chair and throw it across the room. Throwing papers, pens staplers, anything that I can throw. I punch the wall a few more times until finally calming down.
I lean my head on the wall, taking deep breaths. "Jack...we are going to do everything we can to find her."
"You better." I mumble under my breath.
"Excuse me."
"You better bring her back alive! And in one damn piece too!" I yell at Chad turning around. My anger is in full force now. "Calm down Jack." North tries telling me.
"Calm down? Calm down?" I say with more sarcasm. "How can you tell me to calm down when she's out there? God knows where, probably being beaten right now."
"Jack-"
"No! Don't say another damn word about me calming down until the woman you love is taken from you." I storm out of the office. And shut the door with as much force as possible behind me.
It doesn't matter that I just admitted to being in love with Elsa in front of them. I'm angry and upset about losing her. She looked so sacred when I looked into her eyes last.
If that is the last thing I remember of her....I don't know what I'd do. I go to the break room and buy a soda and candy bar.
It's the only way to keep me from smashing something else. Elsa is gone. It hasn't yet dawned on me yet. I keep thinking that she's going to walk through the door and wonder what I'm doing.
Then she'll give me that smile that lights up the room. Laugh, the sound of church bells ringing. Her voice, like a beautiful flowing river. I smile thinking about her.
I look up and see North come inside. Being stubborn like I am, I ignore him and take a sip my drink. North sits down next to me with a drink of his own. "Going to say something?" I ask not looking.
