Chapter 1

Okay guys, new book. Here goes nothing...

Faith's POV

We walk into the police station, only expecting to find a few officers, but instead finding a bunch of teenagers. They all just look at us as if we're the ones who look like we're doing some kind of weird ritual.

Seriously, we're just a bunch new kids looking for a way to get a low cost hotel. They could be more, what's the word? Oh I don't know, have a little more hospitality I think is what I'm getting at.

Okay so first of, there's a tall guy with black hair and brown eyes. He smells like an alpha, then there's the guy next to him, shorter, brown hair and grayish green eyes. Then a girl next to him with kinda short brown hair and brown eyes that's glaring at me. No idea why she's doing that.

Anyway, then a guy with black hair, blue eyes. Red head, hazel eyes. And then a police man that looks like he could be their age.

All in all, not a bad group of people, they just seemed kind of shocked.

Nat speaks up first, "Sorry, we just needed to find a hotel. We can leave." Alec makes his way to the door, but the first guy speaks up. "No its fine, we just didn't expect anyone to come in. We can help you find a hotel. I'm Scott." He walks over to us and shakes hands with all of us. Its just me, Nat, Alec, and Star. That's what's left of our pack anyway.

A guy came and killed everyone in our pack, leaving us only because I had stabbed him in the gut and he had to leave or he probably would have died. Of course I didn't stab him on purpose, it was kind of an accident. I had a knife in my hand and tripped over my brother Alec's foot and my knife plunged itself into the guys stomach.

Let me just say, it was a small victory for me!

Anyway, back to reality.

"I'm Nat, this is my little sister Star, my best friend Faith, and her twin brother Alec." Nat introduces us. Me and my brother might be twins, but are not the least bit identical. Our faces are similar, somewhat, but everything else is different. He has raven black hair, blue eyes, and is really really tall. I on the other hand; light brown hair, green eyes, and I'm pretty short.

"Nice to meet you guys. This is Liam, Hayden, Stiles, and Lydia. Oh and the police man is Parrish." Scott tells us. "And you guys are looking for more then a hotel aren't you?" Lydia asks.

"Maybe," Star says, she doesn't really like anyone outside the pack. "You guys are werewolves, I can tell just from you guys walking in."

"Okay fine, we need a pack. Ours was killed." Alec says, I just kind of stand here in my awkwardness.

After that, Scott starts talking to Nat, Star grumbles in the corner and stares at Parrish, Alec went outside to the truck to get some of our things because they said we could stay here tonight, and I'm left alone to sit. I just sat down on the ground because that Hayden girl made sure their stuff took all of the seats.

I have a feeling she doesn't like me. And I don't really like her either.

Hayden and Lydia start talking, so that Liam boy comes over to me and sits down next to me. He's kinda cute, a real kind of cute, not the one you would call a puppy.

"Hey," he says, as he sits down next to me. "Hi." I say, looking at him. He's really close to me. Closer then strangers should be.

"You looked lonely over here, so I came to talk to you."

"About?"

"About why you're so... Different." He says, nervously. Well that was nice, note the sarcasm. "Thanks for that boost of confidence. I think I'm going to go talk to Star." I say, about to get up, but he pulls me back down.

"That's not what I meant! I meant different as in, like, nothing I've ever seen. Beauty wise. And personality wise. You're so quiet, all of the others have talked at least once and you stood there repecting that you didn't need to say anything. Other girls would have felt left out and tried to act cool." He explains, well that's better I guess.

"I've never been like other girls, they all were... I don't know, better then me." I say, its true, I was the only 17 year old girl in the pack who hasn't had a boyfriend. I've always just been keen to hang out with my brother, best friend, and her little sister. I guess I just never thought I needed one.

Maybe being here with Liam has changed that. I really enjoy his company, after he explained himself, he seems genuine. And awkward like me, but that neither here nor there.

I think I've found someone I actually like.

ALL DONE. Thank goodness, I'm tired, I just got home from dance and finished homework, so glad I'm done for the day! And I hope you all liked it, and share with your friends!
