       Stars POV:

I walked down the street, getting some fresh air. I was taking my time, enjoying the warm California night air. It was dark, being close to midnight, and I probably shouldn't have been out alone, but I could take care of myself. Alec had taught me how to defend myself rather well, so I wasn't worried.

The moon was high in the sky, stars twinkling in between the few clouds. I watched the wind rustle the leaves on the trees as I made my way past, just taking in my surroundings and trying to learn everything I could about this new town. I heard a car getting closer, figuring it was just someone driving past, maybe some teenagers that were heading home from a party. When it slowed down, I got a little nervous, picking up my pace.

"Star?" a familiar voice asked, making me turn around. I let out the breath I was holding when I saw that it was just a cop car. Jordan.

"Everything alright? Can I ask why you're out so late?" he asked worried."I'm fine, just walking home," I explained. "At this hour?" "I was just out exploring a bit." "You want a ride? We can get some time alone." he said smirking.
"Sure." I said blushing. I headed to other side of the car, quickly climbing in.

"So, why are you really out this late?" Jordan said, putting his cruiser in drive. He knows me too well. "Just thinking about my home." I said. "You never really talk about your home, what's it's like where your from?" He asked looking over at me.

"We come from a strange place. Nat and I are descendants of Maleficent-" "Like the evil fairy that cursed sleeping beauty, Maleficent!" Parrish exclaimed. "Yes now shush," I sassed."Anyways,King Beast and Queen Belle got married and united all the kingdoms into the United States of Auradon -don't ask- where they are elected the leaders of the new kingdom. All of the villains, sidekicks, descendants, and accomplices are forced after their defeat to live imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost, a forbidden island surrounded by a magical barrier that inhibits magic and escape."
Parrish nodded his head signaling for me to continue.

"So Prince Ben, the teenage son of King Beast and Queen Belle, made his first official proclamation offers a chance for teenage descendants of villains from the Isle of the Lost to live among them in Auradon and attend Auradon Prep and Auradon Elementary."

"Nat was 6 and I was 5 at the time. Then we met Faith and Alec. I learned how to control my powers and the others tamed their wolf form." "So your not a werewolf?" "I am partly, like 20% But Nat is the most powerful of all of us."

"Now I told you my past,tell me your pretty boy." I said smirking.

"Well, I went to an academy after I got out of the army. I still wanted to help protect people. Once I graduated, I heard there were openings here, so I applied, got the job, and moved down here," Parrish said, stealing a glance at me before focusing back on the road.

"So I heard Liam and Faith has a little fun the other day. They look like their 12 and you won't even give me any." Parrish said smirking. I slapped his chest chuckling.
"Yeah, well, maybe I would have let you have a quickie if I had known that I'd run into you." I said, giving him a flirtatious smirk of my own.
