Ness x Lucas: Unrequited Love

NESS XXVI

Ness XXVI POV

19:25 (Wednessday)

We walked through the long, long hallway of the HQ. An uncomfortable silence surrounded us; nobody really knew what to say after we got captured by Porky, again.

"U KNOW..." Porky stated
"wat?" replied Lucas in his lovely voice.
"Im gonna tell u some shit," Porky said as Lucas nodded.

"Around 10 years ago, Paula, Lucas, Ness, and I were the best of friends. By that time I also fell in love with the oh-so-wonderful Paula. She was perfect in every way, her hair was so soft, and her voice so charming. One day, after mandarin classes, Lucas and Ness decided to go home; leaving Paula and me completely alone. We decided to stop by a park... We sat on a bench and I stared at her, noticing how madly in love I was with her. The sun began to set down, we then found ourselves surrounded by a beautiful sunset ― the sun was hidden behind the clouds and the clouds themselves were pinkish as they floated through the orangey sky. I look closely at Paula's blue eyes and gathered the courage to finally confess my love to her. 'I love you Paula' I told her. 'Okay!' she replied, indifference expressed in her voice. 'Paula!', I exclaimed, 'I-I need to know... do... do you love me back?' I finished, then an awkward silence surrounded us. 'No. I love Ness.' she finally said. I stood up and ran away from her. She followed me back desperately as she screamed multiple apologies. I felt so upset, in fact, I was covered in anger. That so, that I blindly pushed her towards a car. The car hit her..."

"Oh......oOHOHO" said Lucas.

I remained quiet, trying not to cry.

"Swag monEYYY," said finally Nicki as we all walked through the dark hallway.
