//Arrow's POV\\

I gulped, Fir seemed to go on edge as the voices neared. As the blue haired human with red swords and armour on stepped out of the tree lines with the other two with him I was surprised to see Fir leap In front of me. Considering he's bigger than me he easily was able to cover me If one attacked. Dante looked a bit shocked to see the forest dragon In a protective state. "What do you humans want with her?!" Fir's voice demanded, I saw the slightest flinch from Laurence, even I cowered from Fir's tone. "Fir.." I whispered, my cranium raising to standing, my skeleton spiked tail tapping him on the side. He flicked his wing telling me silently he was listening but never broke eye contact with Dante. "They are friends, not enemies..." I whispered, nuzzling my head Into his shoulder to reassure him. He nodded, dropping his gaze to look back at me, a bit surprised that I nuzzled him. He moved and sat down still In front of me. "Arrow, what are you doing out here?" Dante asked as I snorted, flicking a wing tip towards the carcass of bones. Their gazes dropped on the doe carcass I saw Garroth gulp. "Afraid of what two young dragons can bring down together?" Fir smirked, showing his sharp knives that were hidden In his mouth. "No." Laurence spoke for the first time while we stood there. I locked eyes with Laurence but had no affect on him until Fir's eyes came In contact with Laurence did I see a slight hesitation. "Fir, want to come back to my village for a while?" I asked, he nodded slightly. I stood up, walking past Fir and he got up and followed me. Walking past the three I twitched my tail for them t follow but only Dante did as Garroth and Laurence headed off on patrol. "So blue hair going to follow us all day?" Fir asked, looking at me with a smile hidden behind his words. "Ii have a name you know..." Dante growled, I and Fir Ignored him I smirked slightly, Fir caught hold of this and gave me a questioning look. I moved slightly closer to Fir before tackling him, sending us tumbling Into the shadows of a spruce tree. Fir accidentally bit me and I held a yelp of pain down. I heard Dante calling for us as Fir let go he looked at me apologetically. "It's fine," I whispered, smiling. Why'd you  do that? His words rang through my mind F-Fir.. How are we-? I asked, my voice shaking. Speaking through thought? Mind link since I bit you... He replied, chuckling, just as that Dante turned around the tree trunk, looking down at us. "Now what are you two trying to do?" Dante asked, I had realized I was on top of Fir. Quickly scrambling off of him. "N-Nothing.. L-lets j-just go back h-home..." I stuttered, Dante nodded, turning and starting to walk, turning my head back I saw Fir smirk, rolling my eyes I bounded after Dante, Fir following. Time seemed to fly by fast, because next thing I know we're standing In the Plaza. Fir looked around, quite shocked at the beauty of the village. "What didn't expect this place to look nice?" I asked, snickering. "Not at all...." Fir mumbled, pure amazement shown In his voice. "Dante~Kun!" The second I heard those words I growled loudly. Whoa what's with you? Fir asked through our mind link That's the girl I hate the most, pink hair, yellow eyes black cat ears and tail... Kawaii~Chan... I replied, anger full on force In my thoughts. Fir simply just nodded as I continued growling at the pink haired freak. "Ooh, what's with Arrow~Chan?" She asked, I narrowed my eyes as my pupils slitted even smaller. "Oh! Who's this new cutie!" Kawaii~Chan asked, looking at Fir, Fir didn't seem quite okay with the closeness. Fir looked at me giving me a glare asking 'Does she do this every time?' I nodded, holding back a snicker. "Hey don't make fun of me!" Fir snarled at me, before I knew It a bush hit me In the head. "Hey!" I growled back, launching the bush back at him with the wind. "Fine, you win this time.." He growled, defeated. Ii turn my head to see Dante and Kawaii~Chan talking. I rolled my eyes, hissing loudly at Kawaii~Chan before turning to Fir. "Hey, want to come to my den?" I asked, he nodded, I turned and flew off him following. After landing In front of the guard tower, Fir asked. "Taught yourself to fly?" I nodded, Sitting down not wanting to go Inside at the moment. "I'm surprised you haven't torn that girls face off yet." Fir laughed. "Oh I was so close to when I first met her.." I laughed, falling upon my back and looking up at the sky. "Isn't the sky beautiful?" Fir asked, plopping down next to me, I giggled, slapping him with my tail. "Of course It Is, what dragon doesn't like the sky?" I asked, flicking my paw. "Dragons who are scared of heights?" He snickered. Laughing I whacked him with my wing. "Yea, you've got a point there." " Hey the suns going to set soon, come on!" Fir yipped with joy as he flew upwards, getting up I flew after him. I followed him to the very top of the guard tower, sitting down beside him the sun started to set. "Wow, It's beautiful.." I whispered, mesmerized by the beautiful array of orange, red and yellow mixed with some blue and purples. "Yea, It surely Is, but not as beautiful as the dragon next to me.." He replied, I felt some type of heat rush to my cheeks. Not knowing how to respond to that I lay down next to him, falling asleep quietly.
