The girl's face contorted in pain and she let out a deafening scream. In the time that I had been looking at her, one of the guys knocked me over and ran. Hanayuu's face reflected the pain on the girl's as she cradled her head in her hands. Hanayuu could sympathize with anybody. I got up. Why was I hesitating? I was scared. I just couldn't bear to watch a magical girl turn into a witch. Not after Onee-chan. I looked away, because looking at the girl, whose body had become a corpse long ago, hurt too much. I couldn't tear my eyes from the pavement, even when a splash of color surrounded me. The witch's wards. I could probably guess her last thought; "I was living a lie... All this time, I was lied to..." I closed my eyes and fought the bile rising in my throat. And... TRANSFORM!
I raised my bow and pulled the arrow back. The final shot... Everything depends on this... I let go and watched the bow run its course... And miss by a long shot. Hanayuu attacked and defeated the witch while I sat and pouted. "Here! You can use it." I looked up to Hanayuu, who was handing me a grief seed. "T-thanks, Hana-tan!" I leap up and hold her in a bear hug.
