i quickly jolt backwards realising im in lukes arms, he looks upset about what i told him. "I used to cut too" luke said
"Why" i reply puting both my hands in his so we are facing each other.
"basically, i used. We used. As in me and my brothers Jai and Beau, used to be really um, overweight. We got teased so much and i was always worried about Beau because we never saw him because he was in the year above, so i cut"
"I really regret it" we both say at the same time
We look each other in the eye and just.
