You know what they say about karma; it comes right back at you, biting on your ass.
I couldn't really blame karma for what happened, though; wasn't much of a karma believer after all. But I had to blame someone, something for it. I couldn't bear thinking about losing Aditi for no reason at all, or with nobody to blame and be angry at.
All that mattered was it wasn't my fault. If Aditi could just understand that much. Maybe I didn't know what Alisha's intentions were.
Who thought of that, huh?
What was Aditi even crying about? I did reject Alisha. But it did kind of(not really) feel good that Aditi cried because I was making out with another girl. Other than that, I was all angry and sad and angry and depressed. And angry.
Angry at Alisha for doing that, angry at Roman for suggesting me those stuff and angry at myself for following her.
By the time lunch time came around, half of the school had heard about the incident, and the other half was busy spreading about it.
I walked into the cafeteria getting all kinds of looks from the students. Dirty look from some girls(probably Alisha's friends), jealous look from some guys and puzzled look from the others. Even the lady on the other side of the counter gave me a weird smile after handing me my lunch.
I tried not to meet gazes with anyone and started walking to my regular table. Aditi and Sarah were already there, talking. Sara spotted me but her face wasn't angry, or sad. She looked...worried. But I didn't know if that emotion was for me or for Aditi.
I started walking to the table but her eyes flicked at me again, telling me to go away. I tried fighting her gaze but finally sighed, giving in.
The only other person I knew well was Roman, and he sat with his fellow football players. Not a good place for me.
I looked around the room looking for a table to sit at and not get any glares. I let out a breathe a relief when I spotted Samjhana sitting with her friend. They were on a low-voice chat, seemingly not aware of all eyes in the cafeteria turned at me as I walked towards their table.
I quietly sat down next to Samjhana, not even bothering for greetings. She did 'hi' me in the hallway that morning. How many times does one need to greet a person in a day?
"Hi." She said looking completely surprised to see me there.
Guess I'll never know how many.
"Hey." I said slowly giving her a small smile; the best I could form given the situation.
"Hello handsome." Her friend, who was busy on her phone, greeted me in a high, excited voice.
"Hello."
"Samjhu?" She called.
"Yeah, sorry. Samar this is Kajal and Kajal this is Samar." Samjhana introduced us.
"How did you...? Never mind." I sighed in defeat. I really needed to know who gave away my name to everybody.
"Samar... Nice name."
Well, not everybody.
Kajal excitedly put her hand forward for me to shake. I took it and shook it just a little before dropping my hand back to my lap.
"Thanks."
The lunch hour went silently, except for few questions thrown at me by Kajal, which I dodged easily. Samjhana was mostly quiet, and I was thankful for it.
"I gotta go." I told Samjhana as we walk out of the cafeteria and sprinted to the hallway in search for Sara. Her locker was close to the stairs and I could find her there easily.

Romance"And you rejected her, why?" "I don't know." I said. "Come on, tell me." She was almost pleading. "Some questions don't have an answer to Aditi. And its wise not to ask them." I said. She let out a small 'hmm'. "Is it because of your crush?" She...
