"Yeah, I'll come get you." Sara said and hung up. Her pacing finally stopped, as she bent down to place Roman's phone down on the sofa. "I'll go get her. You remember the drill?" She asked turning to me. I nodded. "Good. Off I go."

How would I forget? She'd wasted two hours giving me the 'drill'.

"And then there were two." Roman said dramatically.

"Seriously?" I asked shaking my head.

"What? Oh, come on, tell me you don't like humor every now and then." He said throwing his hands up in surrender.

I stayed quiet, trying to remember everything Sara taught me. But, man it was hard with Roman screaming at my ear from beside me on the sofa.

"Okay, I'll make you a deal. I'll help you make peace with Aditi if you just smile for a while." I was still quiet. What the heck was that supposed to mean anyways? He is my friend. He is supposed to help even if I didn't smile. Smile. What the heck was up with him? "You didn't forget me because of that chick, did you? Come on man. Bros before hoes? Balls before girls? Dic-"

"Shut the hell up man!" I finally exploded. "I'm trying to concentrate."

"That's better." He nodded and walked into the kitchen, whistling. I shook my head, sweat beads building on my forehead.

What the hell was I even freaking out about? It was not like Aditi had suddenly turned into a cannibal and was gonna eat me. Or a zombie. Whichever works.

"You know..." Roman said walking back into the living room with a bag of chips on his hand. "I don't think Sara's plan is actually gonna work. I mean, think about it, do you really think a quiet girl like Aditi is gonna like being inquired and all that? She'll blow the whole concept out of the water."

For once he was somewhat right. Somewhat. But I had my faith in Sara. I knew she'd be right about, well, everything. She never failed at understanding people and knowing what to do at what moments. Maybe that was the reason we bonded as kids. Her blue eyes worked the best at drawing people towards her and she was always the wise one, knowing how to handle every situations.

So, after much pleading and shedding tears, she finally agreed into helping me get Aditi back. " Aditi or alone." Roman gave name to the "mission", which Sara scowled and I flipped the bird at.

I was satisfied I was getting the help from the best.

Roman on the other hand was the opposite of what made Sara, Sara. He was a careless, sick, maniac with dirty sense of humor. But he was my friend, and that stood before everything I held against him. I even forgave him for his crappy suggestions he gave me that day in school.

"So..." Roman trailed off, bringing me back to earth. "You know the..." He paused again. I eyed him. He was hiding something. I could hear it in his voice.

There was a knock on the door.

"Mission Aditi or alone is a go." Roman whispered as I quietly sprint to my room.

Just as I closed the door behind me the front door opened and footsteps approached the living room.

I called Roman. He took the call.

"...is Samar again?" I could hear Sara's voice on the other end of the line.

"He said he needed to clear his mind." Roman stated. "Will you take something? Juice? Sandwich? I make the best cheese sandwiches."

I had to press my phone against my ear to hear Aditi's response.

"No." Was all she said.

"So...why were you upset today in school?" Sara asked.
