Raine and I have been together for a few weeks now. So far we've been on dates practically everyday and have been the annoying couple who snog in public (only twice, though). The thought that I've managed to have a girlfriend for this long is amazing and really puts me in a good mood.

Sadly, my mood on this lovely Saturday morning really gets put down when I find five positive pregnancy sticks in the sink. Not only is keeping it in the sink disgusting, but that means I'll be having another brother or sister! One Josh is quite enough.

After breakfast, I meet up with Raine in the park. She looks so beautiful. Little brown boots peep out from underneath her long dress; it's cream, with little pink roses and has smocking around the...uh...bust. Her hair looks perfect too, it's wavy and... how it usually is. Whatever.

"Hey gorgeous," I greet, giving Raine a peck on the lips.

"Well hello and good morning to you, I hope you are well," Raine replies in her typical cute and quirky manner.

But I only give her a half smile.

"Are you ok?" She asks, worriedly.

"I found five pregnancy sticks in the sink- they were all positive. I'm getting another sibling," I explain.

"But that's amazing!"

"Uh no. It's not. Mum nearly died giving birth to Josh, what if she does die?"

"There's always a risk, Marc. Besides, how do you know its hers?"

Who else's would it bloody be?

"What d'you mean?" I question.

"It could be Lissa's," seeing my shocked expression, Raine adds, "what? You never know."

"I suppose. But lets forget about all that. How about a walk in the forest?"

"Sounds fun."

Raine and I follow the winding path. We see hyper children running around in the play-park; we smile at old ladies, throwing bread to the ducks with their grandchildren by the pond and grin and each other as we see children bickering (as their parents try to find sandwiches) at the picnic area.

Eventually, the path leads us to the forest.

After walking for a bit, I lead Raine off the path.

"Where are we going?" She asks; I tap my nose.

When I'm sure we're not too far away from the path to get lost and not too close to be pried on, I kiss Raine softly. Trying to play 'Mr Smooth', I pull Raine closer and place my hands on her behind (which she swiftly swats away- but we'll pretend she didn't) and start (ok, attempt) to deepen the kiss.

Pulling away from me, Raine asks,

"Woah! What was that for?"

That wasn't quite the reaction I was hoping for.

"Can't I do things for the one I love?"

"But what's wrong with the path?" She asks.

I was trying to be romantic!

"I wanted privacy."

"We've snogged in public!" Raine exclaims, before snapping her fingers and getting the wrong end of the stick, "you wanted to have sex with me, didn't you? You thought, that just because I'm kind of boho and hippy, that I'll do in in a tree? Don't deny it- that's exactly what you were thinking!" Raine shouts.

I've never seen Raine angry before, what am I supposed to do? Ooh! I know, I'll make a joke out of it.

"That wasn't what I was thinking, but if you want to..."

Standing on her tiptoes, Raine slaps me across the face!

Nope, made it worse.

"I told you that I believe in waiting, yet you betrayed my trust. So don't even think about calling me!" Raine shouts again, her voice hoarse, before storming off.

Well, that backfired. I thought she'd find it romantic. I suppose people like me just aren't made for love, we just destroy good things.
