I wake up at an extremely early eight o'clock- on a weekend! But it's for one reason only, and that reason is Raine. My girlfriend.
Girlfriend.
Girlfriend.
I have a girlfriend!
I FREAKING LOVE HER!
Nice word, girlfriend. Especially if it has the words 'I, have and a' in front of it.
Now I understand why everyone gets all soppy.
WAIT! I'm losing my touch! I need depressing music- pronto!
After putting on my headphones (and playing terrible music), I put on a pair of black, skin tight jeans and a guns and roses t-shirt. Then, I ruffle my hair with some wax (TIGI Bed Head, if you were wondering) and I'm ready to go.
I come downstairs to see Lissa ironing.
"Morning!" I say, rather cheerfully.
"Ohmygosh! You kissed her, didn't you?" Lissa gushes.
"Maybe," I say, mysteriously.
"At last! Will you be seeing Raine today?"
"Yes, I just need to ask her first," I say, making Liss laugh, "so, Lissa-roo, how's your love life?" Lissa blushes. Ah, a blushing subject- Lissa's in love!"
"Well, I'm going over his tonight. Josh and your parents are away too, so you'll have the house to yourself."
"Use protection!" I shout, searching through my contacts for Raine's number. When I find her number, I press dial and wait for her to answer.
Ring.
Ring.
Ring.
Wow. Waiting for someone to answer a call really is tense (and I thought girls were overreacting)!
"Hey beautiful," I say, when Raine picks up.
"Why thank you, and good morning to you sir. I hope you have slept well. It is not the norm for you to be up at such an hour!" Raine giggles.
"Well, I was wondering whether you wanted to go out today. With me. On a date. But you don't have to if-" I ramble, before being interrupted.
"Of course I'd love to! Where shall we go?"
"Well, my parents and Josh are away for the weekend, and Lissa's spending the night at Liam's. You could come over mine?" I suggest.
"Sorry, my parents are a bit funny about going over a boy's house, can I meet you somewhere first?"
"Ok. How about by the fountain in the shopping centre, in two hours?"
"It's a date," Raine confirms, before hanging up.
I've got a date! I've got a date! Ooh ah! Shake your bum!
What?! There's nothing wrong with bottoms!
I leave the house so that I'm at the fountain five minutes early, as not to keep Raine waiting. But she's one step ahead, and arrives TEN minutes early! Next time, I'm going to arrive an hour early, so I can be there first. Not that I'm competitive or anything.
"Well hello," I say, kissing my fingers and touching Raine's nose (tres Bugsy Malone, don't you think)?
"Imitating Bugsy Malone, are we?" She asks.
"Great minds think alike. Although I'm doing it to a Talulah as well."
"Cheating on Blousey? How could you?!" She says in mock horror.
