I had left my pencil case at home by accident that morning; I think I must have taken it out of my bag before school when I was revising. I'm not sure what was wrong with me that day, I was really forgetful and tired like I hadn't slept in 2 days. I was going to ask Mrs Tabi for a pen but I feared that she might get angry as the previous day she had made it clear that we MUST bring our own equipment. I hardly ever am told off and I did not want to start now so I reached for my funky ruler, which somehow I had managed to remember. Then when Mrs Tabi was turned around (your not aloud to make contact with any other pupil in a test, even a smile), I leaned forward a little slowly and tapped Jake on the back with it to get his attention.  He turned around and beamed a gorgeous smile at me so I smiled back.

"Have you got a pen?" I quietly whispered careful that nobody else would hear.

Jake hastily rummaged through his clear pencil case and slightly passed a black pen underneath the table. Luckily, nobody saw otherwise we would have been straight out the door. Come to think of it, that was really sweet of him as he could have got told off as well. The last thing you'd want from Miss Tabi was a lecture, she shouts so aggressively its ear piercing and it booms through the whole of West Field High (our school). What’s worse, she spits (apparently). It's accidental but it is still revolting, just like her sour breath which invades your nostrils it would drop a charging elephant in its tracks!

The test was okay, not too hard but I did leave a few questions as I did not have enough time to finish it, even though I tried my very hardest to not get distracted and waste time. It was impossible, Jake was sat in front of me and he had delicious smelling lynx on.

Jake has golden brown hair like burnt embers, which looks even more admirable in the sun, shiny and mesmerising. It isn't long neither short just a cute length down to the ear. It is a messy hairstyle and not flat, I think he must either use gel or wax to keep the messy look in place, sort of like the admirable Chace Crawfords hair. He has the most admirable large eyes as well, like deep startling blue crystals, nearly a sapphire colour and a lighter blue on the outside, the colour of a fresh sparkling ocean. They are deadly hypnotising, mysterious and intriguing, trust me.

I never really talked to Jake all that much , just in Maths mostly helping each other on tricky questions but even from those few little minutes I could tell there was something different about him, from all the other guys.

I thought it was just me, but  I couldn't be sure but  since the nightmare, I kept seeing Jake everywhere I went , when usually I never saw him apart from maths. First, I saw him at lunch, after the test. My friends and I always sit outside on the grass where it is not very busy, that way we can listen to our music without everybody making a loud racket, especially the year 7's, but to my surprise Jake was just across the field, where he never came. I had never seen him there anyway, and I’m sure I would have spotted him. I can't complain though it was fun, watching him play football, my friends even seemed to find it quite enjoyable. I couldn't help but notice Jake was a very fast runner and was excellent at shooting he got in EVERY ball that he had the chance to, by the end of lunch Jakes team won. This might seem a bit strange since it's only seeing someone, but I felt as if maybe he was spying on me, following me everywhere I went.

After the bell went at 3:00pm I walked home with Angela, (she’s like my 2nd best friend)  we went to Meadow Park, and yet again Jake was there, I didn't say "hi" because he was to far away , or maybe that was just an excuse because I was to shy. The truth is he makes me extra nervous, okay, very very nervous, and I never know what to say to him. I know he saw me whenever I glanced around he was there gazing in my direction with his startling beautiful blue eyes.It was probably just another coincidence but, there was something inside me telling me that it wasn't.
