Chap. 2:

After eating lunch, Li and I walked straight to the science lab. Today is our schedule to have our lecture in the Science lab- Chemistry lab to be exact. 

As we opened the door, I heard glasses breaking. 

What the--?

"OHH!" a bunch of male voices cheered before a wave of laughter filled the room. We entered as I felt my jaw hit the floor. 

"DID YOU JUST BREAK THE-" I started but I couldn’t bring myself to finish it will all the broken instruments around the floor.

Harry, Louis and Zayn were standing while Niall was writing something on the board. "Oh God" I heard Liam breathe out.

I felt my blood boil as I groaned in frustration. They continued laughing before I felt several body heat signatures file up behind me. "WHO DID THIS?!" Our teacher’s voice boomed making me jump. 

Isn't it obvious!? 

"It was Lucy and Liam" Harry pointed at us. A gasp escaped my lips, "Ma'am! You know we didn't do it!" Liam reasoned out. I turned around and nodded in agreement with him.

I was panting with either anger or confusion or frustration or... UGH! I DON'T KNOW!

"BOYS AND LUCY! IN MY OFFICE NOW!" She yelled. I instinctively clenched my fists and jaw before turning around to glare at the boys and pushing people out off my way to Ms. Tina's office.

I groaned again kicking the nearest locker door I saw. I was MAD- hell! MAD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! I was furious-- but I continued stalking to the office. 

After slamming the door open and slouching on the nearest chair to the door, I watched as the 5 boys lined up to take a seat.

A fuming Ms. Tina- our Chemistry teacher- and the head teacher came in with a lot of papers in hand. 

F*ck-- Don’t tell me those are-

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" she yelled.

"Ma'am, we didn't do anything!" I snapped. The boys looked at me with horror written all over their faces. Ms. Tina growled at me and crossed her arms, "And what is your proof?" she bit.

"We have cameras in the lab, don't we?" I cocked an eyebrow. "WE DO?!" 4 of the boys- I hate- said in unison.

Ms. Tina's facial expression changed for a second but then returned. "Liam, are you part of this?" the head asked.

Liam opened his mouth but he was interrupted with another person answering for him. 

"Yes he is"

I honestly lied about the cameras so I don’t have enough evidence that Liam isn't part of this. "He isn't!" I defended him.

I can’t believe these assholes are getting us in trouble-- again! "Lucy, you have proved your point but you have no proof that Liam wasn’t part of this foolish act" the head said calmly- but that didn't change the fact that she was basically putting Liam's name along with these devils.

"Ma'am! I swear that I was never part of this!" Liam tried but Ms. Tina shook her head saying that the decision was final.

"You are all- except for Lucy- getting a Violation Report that will be written on your permanent record. Boys stay here and you may go back to class Ms. Gale" the head nodded. I sighed and glanced at Liam who looked like he was about to cry.

"I'm sorry" I whispered placing my hand on his knee for a moment then standing up and leaving.

Being the Teacher's pet and the Valedictorian has its perks- it has a lot- which includes being the President of the class.

“GUYS! SIT DOWN AND SHUT THE HELL UP!" I yelled at them. They looked at me and nodded before going to our arranged seats.

I sat down on my seat and waited patiently for our teacher and my best friend to come back. When they did, Liam looked... Weird. As if something changed in him or something- I just couldn't put a finger on it.

In fact, he was laughing along with the other 4 boys who got HIM in trouble. I caught him winking at other girls after he sat down beside me. 

Ouch...

Yes- isn't it obvious that I like Liam? As in like-like? Yes, I am the cliché kind of girl who is in love with her guy best friend.

After class, Liam stood up immediately and jogged toward Harry's group. What the f*ck? 

They started talking as they exited the classroom and I was left there stunned with what I just saw. I-I thought Liam hated those guys? 

I shook my head getting out of stun and headed for my other classes and suffered watching Liam talk with those guys as I was being ignored waiting for us to be dismissed.
