He loved her, this I knew
I thought he could love me too
Maybe I could make him see
How special he really was to me
Maybe with a little time
Things would divine
I gave him a little nudge
But he wouldn't budge
He only had eyes for her
And my eyes became a blur
Lashes sparkled with heavy tears
And my mind filled with fears
I tried giving him everything I had
Maybe I should've held back a tad
Fighting for someone you already lost
Always has a heft cost
A/N:
Hey there. This one is pretty cheesy, right? I might change it later, but for now, I'm sticking with it. It definitely rhymes like most people assume poems should. Hope you liked it, but if you didn't, I don't care. Thanks.
Love,
KCS
