Push past the pain
Push past the tears
Push past the regret
Push past the memories
Push past the feelings
Push past the loathing
Push past the destruction
Push past the broken pieces
Push past him
He's not crying for you
Why are you crying for him?
He's moving on
Why aren't you?
He forgot the past
Why can't you?
He doesn't care
Why do you?
He wants you gone
Why don't you leave?
He's lying to you
Why do you listen?
He doesn't love you
Why do you love him?
A/N:
Hey, Humans. So this one is a bummer. It's pretty deep and really empathetic on a large scale. Anyone who has felt a true heartbreak understands this poem all too well. Now, something anyone and everyone reading this should understand is I don't care about what you think of my writing. I write to please myself. Not you, Reader. Do I hope you enjoy it? Sure! A little support never hurt anyone, but, as I already said, none of this writing is for you. Maybe my attitude sounds a bit aggressive, but when you've been a pushover your whole life, you finally get fed up with pleasing people.
Love,
KCS
