Blondie’s P.O.V
Ok, so I’m a little annoyed with Ellie for two reasons, one, the cute boy from the front of the school’s locker is next to mine, and was literally just about to speak to me and two, not only did she drag me away, but she dragged me away to see a bunch of douche bags who quite clearly are only interescted in having sex with us.
In case you haven’t guessed, we’re the newbies in school and all the jock like people are wanting to be our ‘friends’ although, secretly, they just want to get in my pants, which Ellie doesn’t seem to care about. Ellie is my older sister by the way, she’s always been confident about everything and if I’m honest – has always been a little bit of a slut when it comes to the male population. Oh well, I still love her.
But as I’m walking to my class, I can’t help but think about the cute dark haired boy. He was taller than me, which was nice as considering I’m tall it’s hard to find a guy who’s taller. He had deep brown eyes and the sweetest smile ever!
I physically sigh after Ellie leaves me to go to her class. She’s one year older than me, so unfortunately, I’m left with Sam – I think that’s his name. Who’s a douchebag, constantly touching me when we were with his friends, however, right now, he’s being sweet. I’m kind of sad as well because I don’t expect to see mystery boy anytime soon, so I just follow Sam to my first class, which is Maths. Brilliant. (Note the sarcasm)
But as I walk in to the class room, my mood lifts when I see him staring out the window, looking away from me. The boy from the car park, the boy from the lockers, my mystery boy. I smile to myself as I’m introduced to class by the teacher, who seems to be acting a little younger than he is, but oh well, who am I to judge right?
“Class, this is Erin, she’s new so be nice to her.”
Calum’s P.O.V
“Class, this is Erin, she’s new so be nice to her” the teacher droned to the class, I honestly hate this man, he’s a complete douche who tries to act a lot younger than he is – causing him to fail miserably as he doesn’t even appear young.
I sigh and turn my gaze to the front of the class to see the blonde girl from earlier today, Erin, that’s her name, a beautiful name for a beautiful face. And to top it all off, she’s staring right back at me, a little smile on her face as she realises I’ve seen her.
Unfortunately for me, Luke is sitting next to me, not that I don’t like Luke because I do obviously, him being my best friend and all, it just means that she has to sit somewhere else, and me and him both exchange a glance because he knows it too. I take a quick glance around the class to see where she can sit. Luckily the only space left in the class is next to Aleisha, which makes me feel a bit better, after all, having her sit next to Luke’s girlfriend is better than having her sit with the douche bag Sam, whom she walked in to the class with.
I mentally groan knowing he’s already had the chance to talk to her and work his irritating charm he has on the ladies, making my chances of ever getting her to like like me even slimmer than they already were.
After the teacher told Erin where she can sit, she threw a quick look in my direction, hinting to me that she had wanted to sit with me, before smiling and walking to go and take her seat next to Aleisha. Who smiled at her and introduced herself, to which Erin introduced herself back, but properly. When she spoke, I think everyone was listening, so therefore everyone was equally shocked to discover she was actually English – that would explain the good looks.
Throughout the whole class I kept glancing at Erin, not to make her notice me, but just to watch her and see how she acted around Aleisha. God, that sounds so creepy. She seemed to be getting on really well with Aleisha because they kept on giggling with each other, getting told off by the teacher, and then giggling even more because they were being stared at by the class. Her laugh was just as perfect as she was one of those laughs that you couldn’t help but smile at.
I overheard Aleisha asking Erin if she wanted to spend lunch with her, well our group. My sped up to twice its original pace as she said yes. Oh. My. God. She’s sitting with us at lunch, for one whole hour. Keep it cool Cal.
I then heard Aleisha start to talk about our friendship group, saying each of our names individually. She then pointed in the direction of Luke and I causing me to look down and blush incredibly, with the fear I may have just been caught watching them. Aleisha didn’t get round to mentioning me for some time, because as soon as Aleisha mentioned Luke was her boyfriend, Erin went all girly and started asking Aleisha all these questions about how long they’d been together and how he’d asked her, all of which Aleisha answered gladly. I’m guessing it was nice for her to have some girly time, because after all she spends most of her time with the boys because of Luke.
Finally after about 10 minutes of boy talk, Aleisha pointed to me and said “and he’s Calum”. I just stared towards the front of the class as I could feel her eyes looking over at me, checking me out in some respects. I may have been hallucinating, but I swear to God she told Aleisha I was cute. This just caused me to blush even more.
Luckily, the bell went signalling it was break time. I let out a little sigh of relief knowing I wouldn’t be having this awkward feeling of having the most beautiful girl I have ever seen watching me. But my relaxation was soon short lived when I stepped out of the class with Luke to see Aleisha waiting for us in our usual spot, and guess who was with her? Erin.
But not just Erin, the other new girl too. I overheard Erin ask Aleisha if it was ok if Ellie stayed with us as well. Ellie, that’s her name, Michael will be so pleased she’s with us. Speaking of the devil, Michael rounded the corner at that moment with Alex, his eyes widening as he saw the two girls with us. He took a deep breath before walking up to the group, to be introduced to the girls by Aleisha, both of them shook his hand grinning slightly, and then doing the same to Alex.
Me and Luke exchanged a glance with each other, and walked over to our little group, all 5 pairs of eyes looked at us, and I found my breath hitching as that gorgeous blue eyed girl looked my way. “Erin, Ellie” Aleisha introduced pointing at each of them, they smiled at us, “Luke, Calum” Aleisha pointed to Luke and then me, causing both the girls to shake our hands.
Finally, after waiting almost 3 hours to talk to this girl, she spoke to me. “Hi Calum, nice to meet you!”
