*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I threw my alarm clock across the room. The last thing I want to do is wake up. Then I remembered we are getting a new student. I kind of wanted a newer student, not because I could help who ever the student is but because it would draw the attention from Maddie. I just hope who ever the new student is that they are normal and have no issues or problems.

Well, to show my true colors I might as well wear my “Smile (= God Loves You” T-shirt.

After I got dressed into my yellow T-shirt and skinny jeans, I found a pair of lime green Vans to pop some color in my outfit. Then I added my makeup and straightened my long blonde hair. I never really thought I was ugly, I thought I was blessed. I always told myself God made me the way he wanted me to be.

*RING RING*

My IPhone interrupted me from walking out the door to go to school. Surprisingly It was Mikey. I wonder what he wanted, he only calls when he needs help, guess I’ll figure out.

“Hello?” I questioned.

“Oh my gosh! You have got to get down here now!” Mikey blabbered.

“Why, where?” I asked, still lost in thought on how he even got my new cell number.

“The new girl is here at our school!” Mikey hissed.

I responded with” And?”

“She is my cousin! I just don’t want to be seen around her! She used to be cool and go down town with me and spray graffiti on the walls but now she is a total freak?! Do something to keep her away from me!” Mikey shouted on the phone.

I don’t even know how this is my problem. But Mikey counts on me when he needs help. Even though Mikey is almost like a twin Branson… I should help him. I mean if she is related to Mikey, how can she be a freak? She must be beautiful! Maybe he just doesn’t like the idea of guys trying to hit on his cousin. Like a big brother instinct.. Or some-

“Hello? Earth to Jesselin, I need your help!” Mikey interrupted.

“Oh um fine, I’ll figure out how to help you..” I gave in.

“Thanks Jess! You’re a life saver! Come here as soon as can! Bye.” Mikey ended the conversation.

Wow. To think I’m a life saver. It’s not the type of life saving I want to do. I want to save the lost. Yes, I love helping people out but God needs my help on saving peoples souls from sin.

Finally I got to the school. Mikey nearly ripped my arm off pulling me behind the corner. I was confused. I thought I was being attacked by someone for all I knew. I even jumped and shrieked a little.

“Hahaha, I didn’t mean to scare you! It’s just I wanted to hide from my cousin Trish and yet show you who she is.” Mikey nearly laughed the whole time.

I nodded, excusing his attempt to murder grab. Mikey pointed to a girl, his cousin. People were laughing and whispering around her. Most people didn’t have the respect to even whisper in front of her face, they just talked out loud. I finally got to see her features.

Tracy was pale, you could see some of her veins. You could even see some purple bruises along her arm. She had huge blue eyes, a small nose, she was bald, and she looked like she starved herself. As is she never ate anything but crumbs. But the most disturbing thing about her was she had an atheist T-Shirt. I opened my eyes real wide to see if it was even possible for Tracy to be related to Mikey. The guy who look like Branson, as if he was a male goddess like Liz mentioned.

“Yeah, She is a freak.” Mikey announced.

“Mikey, how can you say that about your cousin?” I said with meaning.

“Look at her! Look at her shirt! Why wouldn’t you agree?!” Mikey said clearly.

I just rolled my eyes “You cant judge someone without knowing them.”

I’m stuck here. I can’t go up to the disturbing girl and say don’t follow Mikey around. I cant, I know people are judging her but I’m sure she is going to judge me with my T-shirt. As if I’m going to force to repent on her knees.. I guess I can just introduce myself, and let it go however. I wish Liz were here but this stupid block schedule. We have no classes together today. The only time I get to talk to her was in the morning and Mikey took that time. Liz could have helped me help Mikey. She would have loved to talk to the Branson twin.. Oh well. I left Mikey, walking toward Tracy.

“Hi I’m Jesselin” I smiled trying not to look at her features.

She just looked at me. She looked as if she was out to kill.

“I’m Tracey.” she mumbled.

“I was wondering if we had the same classes together. Maybe we could hang out?” I attempted to be as friendly as I could.

“Do you have the same classes as Mikey?” she asked with a cheer of hope.

“Sure do!” I shouted.

“Cool. I guess your going to be my friend.” She stated.

I couldn’t help but smile. I knew she had a lot going on just by the look in her eyes, but she seemed really nice. I thought to myself, I should keep this one.

Tracy took a good look at me. Then she seen my T-shirt. She even smiled. Then She looked at her shirt. Tracy had seen that I noticed her.

“My house got burnt down in a fire. My T-shirt is really my brothers. He is the atheist.. I used to be one to. Then I got leukemia a type of cancer. I started praying because I thought there was nothing else to cure me. Then God answered my prayers and healed me. I’m a Christian myself.” Tracy confessed.

I couldn’t believe how she opened up to me, so fast. All I could do was just smile. I really wanted to hug her. She must of went through a lot of problems. I really don’t care what people think of me if I hang out with Tracy. She was really cool. I should even invite Maddie to hang out with us, but here was the question. Where was Maddie exactly?
