So I didn't see from Maddie for a whole week. I got ready for school and everything, praying that Maddie would show up. Nothing really happened much after Last week, Liz and Tracy just became friends. And we all hung out at school together.

I walked on the school campus and as soon as I turn around there was Maddie. God answered my prayers, already in a good mood!

Hey Maddie were have you been! I greeted.

She just looked at me. There was a lost look in her face expression. She seemed as she was thinking hard about something. Maybe she didn't want to talk to me, because I went religious on her last time we talked..

Look I'm sorry, for you know going religious on you. I promise you I will never approach you like that again. Only if you have questions.. I just hope you talk to me! I said really fast.

She smiled.

What did I say that was funny? I don't think that was funny, I was being very serious. Haha well me being serious is kind of funny.

Well if it weren't for you, I wouldn't believe in God again, She told me.

I respond with Im proud! That's great news! It's a start!

She told me she had to go now, that she was out of school because she was sick. That it gave her time to think about what I said. She also told me that she had made a friend. I was glad she was doing good.

I was extra happy now! Seems like having her believe in God is a start at my goal. I just hope others that are in my path will stand out like her.

Liz came over to me. She looked annoyed. I wonder what was wrong with her.

Hey I can't take you home with me. Liz mummbled.

It's fine! What's wrong? I asked.

Well Mikey doesn't want to talk to me anymore because Im friends with Tracy. And see we had plans to go hang out at the mall, but he said it's not cool. And then we got in this fight about it. Then he said that its not that I'm friends with his cousin, she doesn't really matter. Its that he doesn't like hearing me brag about everything. I don't brag! Ugh, why is he lieing!. Liz complained.

Well Liz people lie to hide things. Maybe because he is empty? He needs to low to feel good about himself. Maybe he wants to set false things to make people like him better? Liz Just forgive him, and calm down. I say.

Whatever fine. You talk to him here he comes. I got to go. Liz was gone that fast.

Hey What is up with you and Liz? I asked.

Well I um. I have no money to take her shopping in the most expensive stores. I mean If I did I would love to take her and buy her everything she wants but I don't. She is making a big deal about everything! And I was planning on asking her out.. but this just ruined it. Mikey said.

I thought to myself wow.

Mikey you lied though. Lying is sin, it cause much more problems then what you start with. You could have just told her that. She likes you to. Haha. I said.

Mikey signed, well fine and why did you laugh? And are you serious?

I am serious, and because it's funny that you like her when she thinks your a goddess. Haha- Don't ask. But don't lie be honest. People lie to cover sins or to impress others. But we shouldn't lie because its against the 9th commandment. It's sin, false truth, false impression. We don't need to impress anyone but God he is our only judge. We need to confess our sins instead of lying to cover them up. Ok? I had to say.

Thanks Jess, Mikey said. After that he ran to find Liz.

I knew I shouldn't have told Mikey about the Goddess thing. But hey I couldn't lie and say nothing! Then Tracy and Maddie showed up. I guess that is Maddie's new friend! Awesome.

Do you need a ride? I heard Liz couldn't take you, Tracy asked.

Sure! Thanks! I smiled.

You can meet my brother to! If you want to hang out at my place for awhile? Tracy asked as if she needed me to meet her brother.

I'd love to! Let's get to class girls! I said.

Then the whole day went on until the bell rang. School went by fast today. My classes seemed short and boring. Well I met up with Tracy and got in her car. It wasn't a very nice car, but I mean a car is a car! Who cares if it got rust along it and dents on the side. I don't even have one. It was kind of awkward in her car, we didn't talk, or listen to music. She must be thinking or focusing on the rode. But now I'm starting to focus on Tracy's brother. How I don't know his name, or why I never see him at school. Why he is a atheist. I need to talk to him. I want to help him. And here's the time to do it all, because we pulled into the

drive way of Tracy's house.
