Chapter Six: I have Cancer?! What?

-Niall's pov-

Jessica woke up about an hour ago. She received a phone call about an hour prior to her awakening. Her and the girls have been crying now for hours. I've tried to help but they won't stop. Is it that time of month again for all of them? Man girls are confusing.

"Guys!"Louis called. Rushing into the living room. He slapped a book down on the coffee table.

"Dude. That's Brooklyn's journal."Harry stated.

"Thanks captian obvious. "Louis replied sassily. "I read it you half-wit." He looked at Harry with a duh expression. "J-Jessica and R-Rayna have c-cancer." He stuttered.

My girlfriend has cancer?! How could she not tell me about this!

Jessica bounced in happily like nothing was wrong. "Hey guys want to go to Nandos?" She asked excitedly.

"Umm Jess we need to talk to you." Liam explained. She sat down on the couch with a worried expression on her face.

-Jessica's POV-
"Whats wrong?" I asked the boys while sitting on the couch.

"We know you and Rayna have cancer." Liam said. I looked at the coffee table and saw Brooklyn's journal.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, clueless as to what was happening. "We don't have cancer." I reassured them.

"Then you used to!"Niall raised his voice. I felt a tear slip down my cheek. Standing up, I ran to our room.

Rayna looked at me with a confused expression.

"What's wrong, Jess?" She asked.

"The boys read Brooklyn's diary and they think we have cancer." I explained sniffling.

"But we don't, Abi and Voilet do." She said with a duh look.

"Go tell them that!" I raised my voice.

" Family meeting in the living room!" Rayna yelled.

-Nialls POV-

"Family meeting in the living room!" Rayna shouted. She ran in and looked at Brooklyn's journal. She picked it up and set it on the counter. Jessica walked in and sat beside me. She didn't touch me or look at me, but I could tell she was angry. Brooklyn ran in and sat beside Louis but showed no signs of affection. She looked even angrier than Jessica.

***After family meeting****

Rayna made the living room into a mini courthouse. She called up "witnesses" and everything like that. It turns out that Jessica and Rayna do not have cancer. Their friends Abi and Voilet or "Satan" do. I felt terrible for accusing my loving girlfriend of having cancer. I went and bought her some flowers and as I drove back home from Sobey's I wrote a note telling her how deeply sorry I am. I set the lillies on her bed and climbed into the top bunk. Everyone else was already asleep and Jessica was in the bathroom. Jessica walked in and saw the flowers on her bed. She awed and walked into the kitchen to find a vase. I slowly fell asleep with a smile spread across my face.

--Jessicas POV--

Today was the worst day of my life. Niall accused me of having cancer, Rayna turned the living room into a courthouse,and Abi-cat and Satan got a death note for Satan's grandmother. I started to head for the room when suddenly a hand clenched over my mouth and pulled me into the bathroom.

"What the hell!" I whisper-yelled. Liam looked into my blue eyes his brown ones drifted down to my lips. Before i knew it his tongue was in my mouth. I pushed him back and almost punched him but he caught my hand.

"Liam? What about you and Ashley??" I questioned.

"We broke up. I love you, not her." He answered my eyes widening.

"I l-love you too but I'm with Niall. I couldn't have both. I had to choose." I spun around and left. I got into bed and slipped off to sleep.
