My one and only cowboy

Can things get any better

I was outside meeting new friend when Kim came out and said, "well we should be getting started." She called me over and said, "your horse is waiting for you in stall 22, he is a sweet heart and you'll love him."

Wow that a coincidents my favorite number is 22! I walk so I didn't spook the horses and I went to stall 22 and I saw this black quarter horse/ paint and I fell in love with him.

He snorted at me and tryed sticking him nose out the rails to greet me. I stall door and gave him a carrot and pet him. He had a shiny, slippery coat that was perfect. I looked on the plate that says his name and his name was......cowboy!

I went into the tack room and I saw this girl I met outside her name was Lisa. I said, "hi Lisa," and she said, "hi." I grabbed the saddle that said "cowboy" and the bride that said "cowboy" and I put it on the holder on the stall door.

I brought him out into the isle of the barn and I got the cross ties and hooked it to his halter. I got a brush and brushed all of the dirt of him then I hoof picked his hoofs. I then put the english saddle pad on and then the English saddle and tighten the girth.

I then got his bridle and I unhooked the halter and put the bridle on and got his forelock out of the browband and and I kissed him on his nose. I said,"good boy," and I clipped the cross ties and led him into the arena.

There were a couple of girls in the arena and they were tightening girths and fly spraying. After I tightened his girth I fly sprayed him and got up on the mounting block and hopped up on my horse.

I grabbed the reins and walked around.
