*1 week later*

A whistle draws my attention.

"You look amazing," Sam says.

I smile. "You don't look too bad yourself."

He grabs my hand between his. "Better go downstairs, everyone is waiting."

I'm wearing a beautiful light blue lace crop top with a long matching lace skirt.

Sam smirks when I grab the heels. "What?" I say.

"Don't fall in them."

I look down, rubbing my belly. I'm pregnant, I probably shouldn't. I walk over to my wardrobe and pull out a pair of beautiful white sandals.

"Perfect," Sam replies as he helps me into them.

I grab his hand and we head downstairs.

I practically throw my arms around Daniel when I see him. "Oh my god! Happy Birthday!" I say as he grabs me and swirls me.

"Thanks, gorgeous," he replies.

Sophia coughs behind us. "Yes you're gorgeous too," Daniel says.

Jess plants a kiss on Daniel's cheek and I notice Sophia cringe. She's trying to make Sophia jealous.

I take a deep breath. "There's like 500 people here," I say.

"Daniel has a lot of friends," Sam replies as he gives my hand a squeeze for reassurance. I don't like big crowds.

I grab the railing as I walk down following Sam. He grabs my hand and immediately drags me to the dance floor.

"Just one dance," Sam says. "Don't want you getting too tired."

"Really?" I reply. "Don't worry about me being pregnant."

My eyes scan the crowd and then travel to the top of the the stairs where I notice Jess staring down at me. She looks mad. I can tell she's coming up with something but I don't know what.

As Sam gently twirls me from side to side, careful not to hurt me I continue to watch Jess. I don't have a good feeling about today.

Jess makes her way downstairs and walks over to us. "Care to join me for a dance? Just like old times," she asks.

Sam nods. "Of course,"

The idea boils my blood but I walk away. Let her have her dance. It'll be her last one with Sam.

I wait patiently besides Daniel who tells me that perhaps we should tell him.

When Sam finishes dancing with Jess, I quickly grab his hand before Jess can protest or ask for another dance.

He frowns. "Everything okay?"

I pull his hand as we walk into the hallway. "I have something important to say."

He grabs my face between his hand. "Okay then tell me. Why do you do look so nervous?"

I swallow. "It's about Jess."

"What about her?"

"Well you know when she made those pancakes, well she put something in them."

"What?"

I frown. This is the hard part. "Those pancakes Daniel had were meant for me."

"Are you saying that..."

A sudden scream draws our attention. We both turn and run towards the scream.

I close my eyes when I notice the blood. Shit!
