I haven't seen Bianca in a while and even though I haven't seen her for so long, when she steps through the front door, I can't help to wrap my arms tight around her and hug her like nothing has changed.

The past six months she's spent taking care of her mother who had fallen ill but she would call from time to time so when I saw her, it was obvious that I be my crazy self and feel the need to hug her like I hadn't seen her in years.

"Oh my god, look at you," Bianca says. "That bump sure suits you."

I smile. "I've missed you," I say. "Such a good friend you've been."

She dips her head. "I know, i know. I'm trying," she says. "How are you, little thing?" She says tapping lightly against my belly.

I grab her arm as I drag her to the couch. "Tell me about Asher."

Bianca has been seeing a guy from California. It's only been two weeks but she seems head over heels about him. Apparently he's a small time painter. She's sent me a picture or two and he definitely knows his stuff. Bianca tells me he can play the guitar and has the voice of a God. I laugh when she says that though he reminds me of Asher Stayfield. He's a popular singer and my oh my can he sing.

I haven't seen what this Asher guy looks like but Bianca says he's incredibly sexy. I'm so glad she's happy. He's going to be in Australia for another month and then eventually leave which begs the question of what Bianca will do then. Long distance relationships are difficult or so I imagine.

"Well we met at a coffee shop. There was no empty seats so he asked if he could sit at my table."

I can notice the blush come on her cheeks as she talks about him.

"He asked for my number and so I gave it because he was damn handsome."

I laugh. "You gave a random your number because he was damn handsome."

She nods her head. "Uh huh."

So she explains that after sitting and sharing a table with him, he seemed nice and that he said she was different to other girls. I smile because that's what Sam had originally said about me and look at us now, we're married. He took her to a restaurant after that and things blossomed. They're going to still stay in touch afterwards and Bianca claims she might just visit Asher in California. Apparently he travels a lot for his job so it's pretty hectic but I smile because she's happy so that makes me happy.

"When's this one popping out?" Bianca asks pointing at my belly.

I laugh. "Bianca!" I say. "You could at least word it more decently."

"Okay, okay," she says. "How long left till the bun's cooked?"

I roll my eyes. "Less than five months. I'm practically half way."

She jumps up. "Oh joy, I'm going to be an aunt."

When I watch her carefully, she sits back down. "Well not an aunt but you get me. I'm going to be aunt anyways."

I laugh. "You've lost the plot, Bianca."

"It's cause I'm high on love," Bianca says. "Love for all things. Love for you, love for you guys relationship, love for Asher and for this Goddamn beautiful baby who isn't even here yet."

I drag her back down when she gets up because she worries me. "What drug are you on?"

Before I can hear her answer, I hear her scream in excitement as she runs across the living room to the hallway where Sam is standing and practically jumps on him, wrapping her arms around him. "You're here, I've missed you."

Sam hugs her as he sets her back down.

"That's my man," I say as I walk up to them.

She winks at Sam. "I saw him first, remember," she says before high-fiving him.

"How are you, Bianca?" Sam asks.

"Good," she says. "I've missed you guys."

I love that my best friend and husband get along so well. In fact that's the best thing about my life, everyone who is an important part of it has so much love for one another.

Sam squeezes her hand. "We've missed you too," he says then points at me. "In fact this one has missed you a little too much."

Bianca smiles as we all sit down on the couch. "So when can we see Asher?"

"Hmm," Bianca says. "I don't know. He's always so busy."

"Maybe I should do a background check on him," Sam says.

My head snaps in his direction. "You will do no such thing."

"What!" He says. "You can't trust these people."

Bianca laughs. "I know I shouldn't be laughing," she says as she tries to cover her mouth in an attempt to hide her laughter. "But you guys are hilarious. Just cause a few things went wrong and a few bad people entered your lives doesn't mean everyone is bad."

"For all you could know, Asher could be a serial killer," Sam replies.

I roll my eyes. "Sam is on high alert after everything."

"I can tell," Bianca replies.

"What if he has a criminal record?" Sam asks.

"It's probably cause he stole something, nothing serious," I reply.

Bianca throws her arms around Sam and hugs him. "I love how much you look after me."

Sam hugs her back. "Kinda have to. I married your best friend."

Bianca smacks the side of his shoulder. "What! So that's why you care."

Sam laughs. "I was just joking. I love you too."

"Sure he does," I say adding petrol to the flame. "He only cares cause your my friend," I say laughing my head off.

Bianca picks a pillow up and chucks it my direction. I laugh even more before throwing the pillow back. "No one likes you Bianca."

"Asher really is a murderer," Bianca shouts throwing a pillow at my face. "You guys are next on his list."

Sam smiles. "In all seriousness, are you happy?"

Bianca settles down, cuddling a pillow between her arms. "Very," she says. "I feel like I haven't been this happy in a really long time."
