To the Capital

Once the Reapening was over the peace keepers rushed us to the Capital Building for visits. My mom walked in, tears were streaming down her face, she hugged me "You win these games for me, you win them for your us." The peace keepers said it was time to go but she said no, they held her back "Cris! Cris! I need you come on" I just sat and stared at her. I knew if I tried to leave I would be punished, so I didn't.

The peace keepers told me we had to get on the train, me and Rein walk aboard the shiny white capital train, I've seen the district 12 coal trains coming to pick up luxury goods and they were nothing like this. They were always a brown-gray color and very rusty. Everything about the capital train was amazing, the fancy capital desserts, the high tech devices, and the decor.

There was a marvelous chandelier and a giant dining table with all kinds of food. I stuffed my face until I couldn't fit anything else, I don't remember ever being this full in my entire life. We entered a tunnel, five minutes later light streamed through the windows and there were crowds of people smiling and waving. I wanted sponsors. So I just smiled and waved back acting like I won a reward, Rein was doing the same, I wonder if he would ally with me.
