Counting Down

Volux readied us before entering the shiny tubes which will most likely, lead to death.

"Crystal, I know you seem discouraged because of age but you got this okay." he said flashing a quick smile. I'm wearing the required black jacket, black pants, and black boots. I slowly step into the tube I've been dreading, waving goodbye to Volux. The tube suddenly starts moving upward.

When I reach the surface the sun is blinding, everything is blurred, and all I can hear is the ringing in my ears.

I look around me and see my allys on the other side of the cornucopia, we had a plan. Me and rose would grab backpacks and run while Rein grabbed weapons. I nodded at Rose, she did the same.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2... 1

Me and Rose quickly grabbed backpacks and ran, she followed me. I ran till I had to stop for a breath, I didn't really notice anything about the arena till now, all I see is desert and bushels of Nightlock.
