Training

The next few days were full of strawberry desserts and fluffy pillows. Then it was the day training starts, it reminded me I was here to fight to the death not eat fancy soups and shower with rose body wash. Me and Rein went to the training center, he automatically walked to the fire station, I didn't know how to fish at all, I quickly ran to the fishing station. Once I mastered the fishing skill I continued on through the rest of the stations.

On the camouflage station I met a girl named Brit Wellian, she was 14 also and had no allys. I figured I could recruit all young tributes and make a team. She was a natural with a bow, she was from district 4, so she also could help me improve my fishing skills.

Counting now I had 2 allys, Rein and Brit. These were now my friends, although Rein was barley a friend. We continued attending these trainings until the three days after that. Followed by two days for relaxation, but it ended with the grading and interviews.

We were prepared alot by Volux, he said show off what you do best. Rein's best weapon was a sword, mine was a knife, and Rose had her bow. So we were set, we were also first to get graded. I was called.

I walked into the training room and found the knives, I yelled "head" and hit the practice dummy in the head, I did the same for stomach,leg, arm, and pretty much everything else hitting everything perfectly on target. I was dismissed then escorted to my room.

I waited on the couch till Mitch, Volux, and Rein came to sit. Suddenly the TV clicked on and I saw my score on the screen "11" I whispered, suddenly everyone started cheering and hugging. Then I saw Rein's score, he got a 10 "BULLSHIT" he yelled "How can she have a better score?!" Volux just looked at him "Please don't swear" he said calmly " there are children present" I knew he was talking about me, I waited for Rose's score to come up she got a 9.
