The One

There are a thousand voices.
But the only one I can here is yours.

The one I look for in a crowd.
The one I shelter from the rain.
The one I help up from the ground.
The one for I would stop a bullet or a train.

When I ran out of oxygen, you were there.
You brought me back to life, like a breath of fresh air.

My life is a labyrinth, full of twists and turns.
People come and go, and when they leave it burns.

But I only need one.
For when I met you, I knew my search for love was done.

A/N: So this is not my best work I don't think, but I haven't written in a while. Oh well. I've started to write poems for my English class so there might be more updates more often but no promises.
There will be another poem up shortly. :)
Thanks for reading. ❤️
