Standing in the shower.
With your name on my lips.
Feeling the water.
Watching the drips.Focused on something greater.
Watching my life fall apart.
Listening to music.
And just wanting to restart.Wishing. Stop wishing.
I must act.
Without watching him run away.
And keeping my heart in tact.I've dug a hole.
That I can't seem to get out of.
Crawling back to you.
It can't be the answer to this lost love. You let go of me.
And I fall.
Being your friend is what I need.
It's what I hold dear above all.
