When I came out of my memories, I had tears streaming down my face and I was huddled on the ground with my knees to my chest.I got up with a little fumble and I muttered "Sorry" with my head down.I looked up when someone put their arm around me, and I saw it was Sky's.He was giving me a sorrowful look and said "Sorry I asked, But this means something did happen." I started to wipe away the tears still on my face. "Well, Peyton, when did the 'Event' happen?" The guy who's name is Zak asked in a monotone way. "It happend about a year ago." I said quietly.after I said that I heard some quiet 'wow's and 'woah's through the group. Once the group quieted down I said "Yeah," and let out a little laugh "It was pretty bad, I saw my sister die of mobs right in front of me." I said and sighed. "But who would be so irrisponsible to let that happen?" asked a man in a spacesuit, who I think his name is Jason. "Well my older sister who was inside when it happend, but it was mostly my fault. I didn't tell anybody what we were doing outside so nobody was watching us." I said while looking at the ground.
"Hey, Its ok-" Adeline started. "No, its not okay, Adeline. If I hadn't been so ignorant she wouldn't be dead." I cut her off slowly raising my voice, with tears in the corners of my eyes. "Its not your fault" said Sky calmly. "YES IT IS MY FAULT, I WASN'T THERE TO SAVE HER." I yelled getting angry with tears down my face once more.
After I said that my head started hurting really badly. I saw terrifying images, and heard sounds of skin being split open, bones crunching and hisses and snarles from something I couldn't understand.My cries of pain became inhuman, the sound of claws splitting through the earth.
I hunched down in a defencive position and made a low growl becuase there were people all around me.when I heard a voice I wasn't scared, but, for some reason I was calm when It spoke in a voice I could now understand.
GET AWAY THEY WANT TO HURT US the voice said scared obviously wanting to get away
But why would they hurt us, their our friends I said mentally to the voice
Don't ask just get away said the voice

Wow what a good chapter, what do yo think will happen to peyton now that she's officialy a soul keeper.Will the others be able to reason with her and get her back, or will the beast take over completely?who knows? heh...well I know. But anyways see you next chapter
