Sky Kingdom and Tragic past(chapter two)

I kept walking through the forest, following the map, until I saw a wall. I was probably on the outskirts of the Sky Kingdom, the only way I knew was because at the entrance there were two guards in butter armour. They let me in,I don't know why though,probably because they saw that I was traveling and I was about 11.So when I got inside, I couldn't help but think how much bigger this place was compared to the village.But anyway,I wandered aimlessly through the main street until I got to the middle of the city. There was a huge castle with gold lacing it.Probably Skys.

I walked through the first floor, and I talked to the first person I saw, "Hello,um do you now where I could stay for the night?"I asked the girl.
"Yes King Sky has some extra rooms if you would like to stay here." She said "Oh,um, thanks yes that would be wonderful, Oh and whats your name, I would just like to know somebody here,I came from a village down north."I asked,"My name is Adeline,what's your name, and why are you alone?"she asked with a confused and worried look on her face"O-oh, my name's Peyton, and um," I started looking down at the floor"Do you promise not to tell anyone unless you think its that serious"I asked with a serious look on my face. She nodded her head 'yes'."My mother sent me here so I could be 'safe'"I said." Safe from what?"Adeline asked with a confused face."I don't really know, but I think my parents are Soul Keepers." I said almost as quiet as a whisper."Oh okay ,um, would you wait down here for a moment while I get Sky down here,we need to talk." she asked while walking away towards the stairs. "um, okay?"

I was shown to my room and I guess one of Skys' maids told me to meet on the outskirts of the walls at sunset.

Time skip (sunset)

Sunset came,and I was heading out.When I saw smoke I headed that direction. That's when I saw Adeline and about ten other people around a campfire.

"H-Hi." I said shyly. Everybody greeted me. I was a little surprised to see sky sitting on one of the logs.And I guess a little scared to see a guy with the same features as mom,but except feather wings they looked like dragon wings."Okay everyone, Peyton says that her mother has sent her to the kingdom because she thinks she's going to be a Soul Keeper." I was sitting on the log with Sky next to me. "Well of course she would be a Soul Keeper, both her parents were, but she's so young. How is it happening now?" A man in a white tank top, red and black checkered flannel, dark blue jeans, black shoes, and gold dog tags round his neck said. "Well, maybe she had her traumatic experience when she was young." Sky said. I started to tear up after he said that.

Flashback

It was lunch time at our house, me and Kaylieh were in the backyard. We didn't want to go back inside. We were playing a war game. Our mom, she works at the place that makes spawn eggs, and sometimes she brings some home. She only brings a few at a time, but I've been saving them for a while now. But its a game were there will be a wave of mobs and we have to fight them off from our 'base'.

Kaylieh is on a difficult wave right now, its a wave with zombies and spiders. She was fighting them and she was backing closer to the wall.

"Kaylieh, you need some help?" I tried to yell over the mobs.

Yeah, I'm fine." She yelled back backing farther back to the wall.

"You sure?" I asked worriedly

"No, not really." She yells back while dodging an attack.

"Okay I'm coming" I yell running over there. she was only about 15 blocks away from me when my other older sister, Abbie comes out and yells at me for no reason about taking  her shoes or something.

That was when it happened. I was too late and Kaylieh got killed by the mobs. I had watched the whole thing happen before my eyes. She was finnally backed to a corner. She was repeatedliy hit with arrows from skeletons, punched and kicked  by zombies, and to finish her off, a creeper blew up right next to her. After she was dead they dirrected their attention to me, but when I finnally killed them all and got to her, I knelt down to check her pulse. I-it was gone. I fell limp next to her cool body and cried, and cried and cried.

When Abbie came out to check on me, she saw us-me- on the ground by the fence and she ran over to me. But when she saw Kayliehs lifeless body she sat down next to me and stroked my dirty blond hair and silenly cried.I got up and picked up Kayliehs body and started walking towards the house with my head down. This was the saddest day of  the Miner family.
