Jenna's POV-
"I hope Sarah's alright." Joey said as we walked out of the bedroom on the Take Six bus after checking on Sarah.
"Yeah." I said.
"Well, I'll see you later." he said. "Thanks for dinner."
"No problem." I said as he left. Jess came on the bus.
"Hey, I heard what happened. Is she alright?"
I shook my head. "I don't know yet. I'm waiting for the doctor to call back."
She hugged me. "Is she on vocal rest now?"
"Yep. She's got two hours to not talk."
"That's good."
"I should've made sure she did it earlier. She didn't."
"It's not your fault." she said. "Do you want me to walk you back to your bus so you can rest?"
"No, it's alright. I'm staying here." I said, sitting on the couch.
"Jenna, you're going to wear yourself out. It's been two weeks and you haven't left Sarah's side. I'm sure she'd understand if you went to rest." she said, laying her head on my shoulder. "You know what? Tomorrow's our month anniversary."
"I'm sorry I forgot." I said.
"No, I understand. So don't be sorry. But how about we hang out? Maybe chill at the beach or something?" she asked, taking my hand.
"Sure. I'll make sure it's alright with Sarah when she wakes up." I said.
"I'm sure it will be." she said. "Because I do miss hanging out with you."
"I do, too." I replied. "I just want to make sure Sarah's alright."
Jess's POV-
I planned out the perfect day for Jenna and I for our month anniversary.
Early that morning, I brought Jenna and Sarah breakfast in bed. Hey, Sarah's sick. She needs energy.
We all talked and laughed and they were so happy to see what I had done for them. I wanted both of them to feel special, they were my best friends.
Sarah was cool with Jenna leaving, she actually said she wanted Jenna to be able to get out and relax. So Jenna and I went and checked out some bands at Warped. We stopped by And Lastly, You's set. They were pretty good.
Joey plays guitar, and sings backup vocals and in some songs. He smiled when he saw us in the crowd. "My good friends, Jenna and Jess are in the audience right now!" he smiled.
We waved to everyone.
"Also, as many of you probably have heard--my good friend Sarah has been sick. She had to be on vocal rest for two weeks but talked for a bit and the doctor wants her to do a two hour vocal rest everyday. If you guys haven't checked her band out yet, they're called Take Six. They're just like us, really. Please send them as much love as they can, because Sarah's been through a lot and she's scared that things won't be alright. But they will be alright!" he smiled.
At the restaurant, we washed our hands and Sarah felt dizzy and lightheaded. So we brought her back to the venue. She felt better today, but I called the doctor. He said that she needed to drink more water and that she needs to be on bed rest today, or just in the bus. She also needs to take medicine, like before.
Jenna and I went to The Summer Set bus, and she came with us to our meet and greet. Then we did our set.
At the very end, Brian smiled. "Hey Jess, didn't you have something to say?" he asked, obviously knowing that I did.
